This time, Lin Wei helped Su Shiyu, and as a token of her gratitude, Su Shiyu wanted to buy Lin Wei a new phone. Su Shiyu originally intended to buy a smartphone like the one they were currently using, but Lin Wei only wanted a simple phone for seniors. They gave each other nicknames in their phones: Su Shiyu as "Shen Yan Mom" (referring to Little Duck's mom), and Lin Wei as "Shen Yan Dad" (referring to Little Duck's dad). As Su Shiyu spent more time with Lin Wei, she initially thought he was a playboy, but over time, she felt that he must have a backstory. Su Shiyu also mentioned her plans to do a live stream in the mountains.
Su Shiyu hired a truck to transport her belongings to the mountain, but the driver wanted to overcharge her. Lin Wei noticed this and intervened to prevent any conflict. He sternly warned the driver. Su Shiyu had brought a substantial amount of stuff, indicating her intent to stay for an extended period.
At night, Su Shiyu was applying a face mask and discussing her plans with Bai Ruan. Bai Ruan wished her luck. Lin Wei entered Su Shiyu's room and noticed that it was completely different from before. Su Shiyu had decorated it like a princess's room and even brought her robotic vacuum cleaner. Lin Wei was left speechless.
Early the next morning, Su Shiyu had workers install two swings outside, which created a loud noise when they were being assembled. Lin Wei confronted her about it, and Su Shiyu quickly apologized. She even gave Lin Wei her noise-canceling headphones to avoid disturbing him. Su Shiyu explained that she had moved all her business to the mountain. Lin Wei didn't expect this and joked with Su Shiyu.
Later, Luo Feifei and Shu Yue coincidentally met on the road and went to find Su Shiyu and Lin Wei together. Luo Feifei's real intention for coming was to learn from Su Shiyu's rejection experience, but Su Shiyu was not interested in engaging with her. Shu Yue wanted to know if Lin Wei would harm his master and stated that he would keep a close eye on Lin Wei. Lin Wei, however, had no intention of engaging with him and simply covered himself with a blanket to sleep.
Su Shiyu didn't sleep well all night, and when she woke up, she took Shu Yue aside to ask him for a favor. She wanted him to create an opportunity for her. Shu Yue initially didn't understand but quickly caught on to Su Shiyu's plan. Su Shiyu then sent him to buy some items. Later, Su Shiyu asked Lin Wei to help her shoot a video. Only when they were shooting the video could they be close to each other. Shu Yue returned and saw them together but tried to find excuses to separate them. Luo Feifei noticed Shu Yue's intentions, and he wanted to team up with her since their goals were to separate Su Shiyu and Lin Wei. Luo Feifei approached Lin Wei, wanting to borrow something, but he refused and told her not to touch Su Shiyu's belongings. During the day, Shu Yue was helping Su Shiyu with the roof, which disturbed Su Shiyu. She scolded him for the disruption. Su Shiyu overheard a conversation between Lin Wei and Luo Feifei and learned that Lin Wei was not interested in marriage. She realized that she had underestimated her control over him and found it difficult to cope with the situation.
Late at night, Su Shiyu's room started leaking, and her bed was soaked. She had to seek help from Lin Wei. After Lin Wei fixed it, Su Shiyu brewed cold medicine for him. With only the two of them left, Lin Wei wanted to have a meaningful conversation with Su Shiyu, but she kept finding excuses to change the topic. Eventually, Su Shiyu initiated the conversation and confessed that she had something she wanted to clarify with Lin Wei. Initially, Lin Wei was taken aback, but Su Shiyu kissed him. At first, Lin Wei resisted, but eventually, he reciprocated, holding Su Shiyu in his arms as they shared a passionate kiss.
