Lin Wei asked Su Shiyu if she had something to say to him. Su Shiyu replied that she wanted to confirm something and before Lin Wei could react, she kissed him. Initially, Lin Wei tried to resist, but eventually, he yielded to Su Shiyu. Shu Yue happened to witness this scene and quickly asked them to separate. The next morning, Su Shiyu saw Lin Wei airing the bedding, so she went over to help. Lin Wei felt a bit embarrassed and made an excuse to go into the room.
Lin Wei remembered what happened the previous night. Shu Yue took the opportunity to ask Lin Wei if he had genuine feelings for Su Shiyu. Although Lin Wei didn't answer, Shu Yue kindly advised him not to hurt Su Shiyu.
Chen Xiangxiang deliberately blocked Jin Xingchen, who was about to go to work, and said many bad things about Su Shiyu. Furthermore, she accused Bai Ruan of being opportunistic. Jin Xingchen didn't want to deal with Chen Xiangxiang and left immediately.

Su Shiyu wanted to find Lin Wei but hesitated for a long time and didn't dare to knock on the door. The next morning, while picking vegetables, Su Shiyu was still debating whether to give up. Shu Yue also came over to persuade Su Shiyu to give up. At that moment, Lin Wei and Luo Feifei returned together.
Lin Wei told Su Shiyu that if she wanted to stay in the village for live-streaming or selling products, he wouldn't oppose it, but they could only be friends. Su Shiyu repeatedly asked Lin Wei and got the same answer, which made her leave in sadness.
Lin Wei told Luo Feifei about the situation, but his heart was not really in it. Although he claimed that he and Su Shiyu were just friends, he actually held deeper feelings for her.
