Huo Baiyu suddenly appeared in front of Jiang Xiaoyuan, even knowing about the original conflict between her and Feng Ruixue. Upon sensing Jiang Xiaoyuan's reaction, Huo Baiyu, emotionally stirred, revealed that he was Huo Baiyu from the advertising company, and they had been together for a full three years. He was the Huo Baiyu from Jiang Xiaoyuan's original world! With countless questions in her mind, Jiang Xiaoyuan was eager for explanations, but Huo Baiyu was unwilling to provide more details. Instead, he produced the time-traveling phone that all transmigrators possessed and hurriedly took Jiang Xiaoyuan away. Huo Baiyu stated that he knew the way back, but he couldn't reveal it to her at the moment. Throughout the ordeal, Jiang Xiaoyuan had been entangled in this situation by him.

Qi Lian went backstage to find Jiang Xiaoyuan but discovered the door was locked. Huo Baiyu seemed afraid upon hearing Qi Lian's voice, rushed to leave, and warned Jiang Xiaoyuan not to tell anyone about this. When Qi Lian entered the backstage, he noticed Jiang Xiaoyuan's strange demeanor and sensed Huo Baiyu's presence but still let him escape.

Qi Lian instructed Jiang Xiaoyuan to be cautious and stay with the theater group until his return. The successful performance revitalized the theater, and everyone was grateful to Jiang Xiaoyuan. She was formally invited to become the resident makeup artist at the theater. However, as the beauty business was canceled, Jiang Xiaoyuan couldn't continue as a makeup artist. Nevertheless, she promised to support everyone's dreams. During the celebration, Feng Ruixue unexpectedly arrived, claiming she had something to say to Jiang Xiaoyuan. Despite not harboring ill feelings towards Feng Ruixue, Jiang Xiaoyuan would have continued their friendship in the past. Feng Ruixue questioned why Jiang Xiaoyuan disappeared suddenly, and she explained it was due to her grandmother's illness and the need to earn money for medical expenses. Feng Ruixue got even more emotional, offering financial help and expressing her disdain for Huo Baiyu. She accused him of deceiving Jiang Xiaoyuan and tried to shift the blame onto her. Eventually, they reconciled with a handshake, recognizing their past friendship.

Qi Lian discovered that Jiang Xiaoyuan had met Huo Baiyu, and he was puzzled that she seemed uninterested in pursuing Huo Baiyu. Jiang Xiaoyuan wondered if she could return to her original world, but she had developed attachments to this world, including Qi Lian, Chen Fangzhou, Lily, and others. However, perhaps only by leaving could Qi Lian wait for the return of the real Jiang Xiaoyuan. Unaware of Qi Lian's thoughts, she treated him to ice cream, and they took a walk together. Although Jiang Xiaoyuan didn't dislike this world now, she might miss Chen Fangzhou, Lily, and Qi Lian if she returned. When Qi Lian asked if she had promised anything to Huo Baiyu, Jiang Xiaoyuan avoided the question, unwilling to discuss it with him. Qi Lian felt disappointed as Jiang Xiaoyuan's current behavior indicated a lack of trust in him. Jiang Xiaoyuan advised Qi Lian to save his energy for the real her's return. Qi Lian had no words, only asking her to inform him before leaving.

After listening to Jiang Xiaoyuan's recording, Qi Lian couldn't bring himself to delete it. Suddenly, the police arrived, requesting Qi Lian's assistance in investigating Huo Baiyu. The Chongqing police had located Huo Baiyu, and they hoped Qi Lian could provide any information he knew. Ad informed them that Huo Baiyu had been found, and they rushed to the location. However, when the police arrived, Huo Baiyu had already left.

Jiang Xiaoyuan bought gifts for everyone, causing Chen Fangzhou to worry that she might be leaving. She received a call from Huo Baiyu, arranging to meet tonight at the warehouse in the northern suburbs – they were leaving tonight. Qi Lian asked Jiang Xiaoyuan if Huo Baiyu had approached him again, hoping she would end her dealings with him and tell everything to the police. However, Jiang Xiaoyuan was unwilling to get involved, only wanting Huo Baiyu to take her home. Qi Lian couldn't persuade Jiang Xiaoyuan, but he promised to ensure her safety and find out the truth from Xu Jingyang.
