Gao Yongxiang was strangled to death, and when the boss received an apology call, he promised that it would not implicate everyone despite the loss of life! On the surveillance footage, Luo Fei's subordinate arrived and the boss sent someone to investigate. The computer screen showed the Yaxing Group, which was Bai Yaxing's company! The person found an excuse to send away Luo Fei's subordinate who went to investigate. Luo Fei couldn't find Gao Yongxiang's whereabouts but found the building where his relatives lived from Professor Ling.

Wang Jing and Xue Bing went to Gao Yongxiang's room and smelled a pungent odor before entering. They found a corpse inside, and the police arrived shortly after. Strangely, the journalists arrived at the same time as the police. The victim's head and limbs were all chopped off. The police searched Gao Yongxiang's room carefully, and except for a locked room, nothing was unusual. On the other side, Liang Yin and Lu Fengping found Liu Rong, Liu Ningning's boyfriend, and Liang Yin conducted a routine inquiry. Liu Rong mentioned that they had a quarrel because he had rented a basement and brought Liu Ningning there. However, Liu Ningning wanted to live somewhere else, and they had an argument over this. It turned out that Liu Rong didn't know Liu Ningning had claustrophobia.

After they returned and organized the information, Luo Fei asked about Lu Fengping's whereabouts. Lu Fengping had something to do and had gone back. Luo Fei found Lu Fengping's recent behavior suspicious.
