Luo Fei routinely asked Liu Ningning's mother. According to her, she did not know about "Black Wa" and Liu Ningning is not her biological child. He was adopted from the Chun Guang Welfare Institute. Liu Ningning's mother said that he has always had a fear of enclosed spaces since childhood, but they never took it seriously, and they did not expect it to continue when he grew up. As for Liu Ningning's life before adoption, they can only go to the welfare institute to find out. After Luo Fei finished questioning, he made a call and arranged to go to the welfare institute with someone.

Liang Yin and others went to work as usual, but they found the office door that was locked last night was open! They carefully walked inside and saw a person's back. They didn't know the name of the biological parents. After leaving the director's office, they met an old acquaintance, Lao Yang, who invited Luo Fei for a drink, but Luo Fei declined and left. On the other hand, the "boss" received news that Luo Fei went to the welfare institute and asked if they needed to take care of the files. The "boss" said he had a better person for the job.

When Luo Fei and Lu Fengping returned to the bureau, they saw someone sitting in Xiao Liu's place. Luo Fei's expression changed immediately. Liang Yin quickly introduced Chen Jiaxin, but Luo Fei ignored him and called for a meeting. Lu Fengping immediately arranged for Chen Jiaxin to be moved to another position when he saw the situation. The group discovered a homicide case that occurred six years ago in the provincial capital, where the victim suffered the same way as Gao Yongxiang, but the victim's information could not be found at all. Wang Jing speculated that the killer may be the same person, so he ruled out Liu Ningning's suspicion because Liu Ningning six years ago hadn't even started college and didn't know Gao Yongxiang at all. Luo Fei said they would hypnotize Liu Ningning again the next day and had to unlock the "Black Wa" point. He suggested starting from Longzhou Park. After the meeting, Lu Fengping also talked separately with Chen Jiaxin and explained that Luo Fei was not deliberately targeting him. He hoped that Chen Jiaxin would quickly integrate and familiarize himself with the way Luo Fei works. Chen Jiaxin readily accepted.

The next day, Lu Fengping tried to hypnotize Liu Ningning again, but there was no progress. Lu Fengping and Luo Fei analyzed the situation and thought it was likely that Liu Ningning had no memory of Longzhou Park. Luo Fei decided to go to the welfare institution again. They saw Bai Yaxing at the entrance and greeted him. After a brief conversation, Bai Yaxing gave Luo Fei his business card. Luo Fei then went to the archives to get Nannan's file and discovered that someone had tampered with it, and the missing file was actually Liu Ningning's.

Back at the bureau, Luo Fei accidentally saw Chen Jiaxin's drawing board, and learned that Chen Jiaxin could draw portraits. Luo Fei brought Chen Jiaxin to the welfare institution, and Chen Jiaxin really drew the portrait of the missing girl. Luo Fei showed the portrait to the director to learn about the girl's situation. According to the director's memory, the girl's name was Li Mengnan, and she came to the welfare institution with Nannan. Her mother was arrested for drug use and her father was killed during a robbery, making her life extremely tragic. It was finally clear that Li Mengnan and Nannan had been mixed up in the welfare institution's records, and therefore the director had been kept in the dark. In other words, Liu Ningning was actually Li Mengnan. Her father's criminal record could be found at Gaoling police station, and the case finally had a direction.

Liang Yin and Chen Jiaxin went to the police station and found Li Mengnan's father Li Jun's file. Based on the address on the file, Wang Jing found Li Jun's neighbor, Teacher Ma, who knew everything that happened in Li Jun's family. It turned out that the "Black Doll" that Liu Ningning had always been talking about was actually Li Mengnan's younger brother, and their mother's name was Qin Yan. Luo Fei also found Lao Yang, who turned out to be the victim of Li Jun's robbery. Luo Fei also mentioned that Li Mengnan's file had been swapped. Lao Yang visibly panicked, and the two just stared at each other in silence. Back at the bureau, they sorted out their thoughts again. They noticed that Qin Yan had disappeared after visiting Li Mengnan once in the year she was released from prison, and an unidentified female corpse was found that same year. Luo Fei boldly guessed that the unidentified female corpse was Qin Yan.

Suddenly, the bureau received a call from Lu's office. Lu Fengping has been detained on suspicion of a missing persons case.
