Lin Yiyang had dinner with two good friends. During the meal, he asked if they wanted to go back to the past. Both friends agreed that they should achieve something before reconnecting with familiar people from the past. Lin Yiyang also felt that he shouldn't just live for today without considering tomorrow; he should think more about his future.

Since Yin Guo's coach and teammates also participated in the competition, Yin Guo had to move out to live with them. When the Chinese restaurant owner, who knew Yin Guo, heard about this, he worried about how Lin Yiyang and Yin Guo would develop in the future.

While Yin Guo was chatting with the owner, Lin Yiyang sent a message saying he was coming to see her. Yin Guo prepared to go home, but on her way back, she unexpectedly met her brother, which surprised her. Even more unexpected was that Meng Xiaodong came to see Lin Yiyang.

Lin Yiyang asked Meng Xiaotian to inquire when Lin Yiyang would return. Yin Guo worried that they might fight when they meet and wanted to cover for Lin Yiyang. However, Lin Yiyang replied that he had already arrived downstairs. Meng Xiaodong unbuttoned his shirt, and Yin Guo was worried they might fight when they met. She even signaled to Meng Xiaotian to intervene.

When Lin Yiyang entered the room, both Yin Guo and Meng Xiaotian looked worried. After Lin Yiyang and Meng Xiaodong met, they looked at each other calmly, but their tone was sharp. Seeing the tension, Meng Xiaotian quickly found an excuse to escape back to his room. Yin Guo worried they might fight and wanted Meng Xiaotian to help.

When Yin Guo opened the door again, Lin Yiyang asked her to close it. In the living room, only Lin Yiyang and Meng Xiaodong were left. Meng Xiaodong wanted Lin Yiyang to continue playing billiards, but Lin Yiyang didn't want to talk about anything related to billiards. Eventually, they talked about Yin Guo, and Lin Yiyang admitted his feelings for her. Meng Xiaodong invited Lin Yiyang to play billiards together to compete.

Seeing her brother leave, Yin Guo hurried back to ask if Lin Yiyang was in trouble. When Lin Yiyang came back again, he was wearing clothes he used to play billiards, which surprised Yin Guo. Lin Yiyang and Meng Xiaodong went to the billiards hall. When people recognized Meng Xiaodong as the snooker world champion, they watched their match. Yin Guo also came to watch Lin Yiyang and her brother's match. The match was exciting, and they received applause from time to time. In the end, Lin Yiyang won.

Meng Xiaodong took his sister, Yin Guo, aside and encouraged her to be bold with Lin Yiyang. He also hoped she could persuade Lin Yiyang to return to professional competitions because of his talent. Lin Yiyang left the billiards hall and met Yin Guo. They looked at each other, both feeling something for each other, but Yin Guo felt too embarrassed to break the ambiguous atmosphere.

Lin Yiyang took Yin Guo to a fast-food restaurant, but there was a misunderstanding about the order. Lin Yiyang inadvertently ordered a dish Yin Guo didn't like but couldn't say it, so she reluctantly ate it. In the evening, when Lin Yiyang brought Yin Guo back to the rental house, Meng Xiaotian and Wu Wei were preparing dinner.

Lin Yiyang sat down with them to eat. Yin Guo's coach called, so she went to answer the phone. Wu Wei deliberately asked Meng Xiaotian in front of Lin Yiyang if Yin Guo had any suitors. Meng Xiaotian calmly told them that Yin Guo had many suitors, and there was even a potential fiancé now. Lin Yiyang felt a pang in his heart upon hearing this.
