After Meng Xiaodong finished playing ball with Lin Yiyang, he found Jiang Yang because Jiang Yang was also looking for Lin Yiyang. Both of them had the same goal: they hoped Lin Yiyang would continue to return to professional matches. They had a little competition with Lin Yiyang to see if his basic skills had deteriorated over the years. They found out that Lin Yiyang hadn't stopped playing pool over the years and was still in peak condition. Both understood that Lin Yiyang couldn't let go of the past.

In the evening, Yin Guo couldn't sleep and heard noise in the living room. Thinking it was Lin Yiyang, she messaged him. It turned out to be Lin Yiyang, who walked into Yin Guo's bedroom to avoid her brother, Meng Xiaotian. Lin Yiyang told Yin Guo he was injured, and she worriedly helped him treat the wound on his leg. It was scratched while protecting Yin Guo, but Lin Yiyang didn't tell her the reason.

After Lin Yiyang finished applying the medicine, he left, and Yin Guo prepared to go to the living room. Unexpectedly, she ran into Lin Yiyang again. He pushed her against the wall and even pressed his face close to hers, making her nervous but not resisting, seemingly anticipating his next move. However, at that moment, her brother suddenly came out, allowing Yin Guo to retreat to her bedroom. Wu Wei, with a pained expression, decided to go back to playing snooker and sent Lin Lin a message, causing Lin Lin to scold him for his lack of focus. Wu Wei couldn't understand why Lin Lin was with Meng Xiaodong, as they had completely different personalities.

Lin Lin also realized Lin Yiyang was nearby and told him that Jiang Yang had come early to see him because he felt hurt by Lin Yiyang's previous indifference. Lin Yiyang felt guilty upon hearing this.

After Yin Guo returned to her room, unable to sleep, Lin Yiyang finally sent her a message. She immediately responded. The next morning, Lin Yiyang asked Yin Guo to come out of her bedroom. She quickly tidied up and went out, finding Lin Yiyang making coffee in the living room. As they stood close together, Wu Wei suddenly came out, causing them to separate. Yin Guo, feeling flustered, randomly found something to occupy herself with. They talked about information regarding Lin Lin, and Yin Guo learned about the relationship between Lin Lin and her brother, as her brother had never mentioned it before.

After the conversation, Wu Wei felt the atmosphere was awkward and left, leaving Lin Yiyang and Yin Guo alone. Yin Guo was about to move out, and both of them felt a little reluctant to part. While they were alone in the living room, Jiang Yang suddenly came to find Lin Yiyang, which irritated Lin Yiyang as he appeared without prior notice.
