The drama is adapted from the novel "Bai Jin Luo Man Shi / 拜金罗曼史" by Chen Zhiyao. It tells the story of a love that spans ten years. Gan Yang and Ding Zhitong fall in love at graduation, but due to their economic differences and other practical reasons, they part ways. Ten years later, they meet again in the business world and unravel their misunderstandings, ultimately finding their way back to each other.

Synopsis
After graduation, Ding Zhitong avoids relationships, focusing on her career, but she is pursued by the cheerful and carefree Gan Yang, who comes from a family with fewer financial pressures. Despite their economic differences, they share a strong chemistry, and she agrees to be with him.
However, the gap in their social status and a series of practical issues after entering society create undeniable tensions in their otherwise sweet relationship. When Gan Yang’s family business collapses, he hides the truth and breaks up with Ding Zhitong. She mistakenly believes she has been abandoned and grows to resent him. Ten years later, they meet again in the business world, resolve their misunderstandings, and eventually reunite.
