Synopsis
During a photography trip abroad, Wen Xi accidentally ends up in the underground fighting arena of Lao Jia, the shadowy boss of a loan shark operation, where she is offered as a prize to the victor. The winner is a young and mysterious Chinese man named Xu Zheqing. Impressed by Xu Zheqing's mercenary-like skills, Lao Jia coerces him into staying and working for him. However, Xu Zheqing is actually a private security consultant who is there to rescue Wen Xi. After navigating numerous dangers, the two manage to escape from Lao Jia's control.
Three years later, Wen Xi unexpectedly reunites with Xu Zheqing. Although they now belong to different factions, their past emotions still bind them together. This time, can they break through the darkness and embrace each other in the light of day?
