Jun Qiluo learned from her third sister that last night, government soldiers had burned two Beixuan spies alive in a thatched hut in the woods. Since then, no one had seen Xuan Lie or Luo Qi. Suspecting something had happened to them, Jun Qiluo rushed to the scene. She saw the soldiers carrying out two corpses, and Xuan Lie’s whip had fallen to the ground. She couldn’t believe that Xuan Lie and Luo Qi had died just like that.

Overwhelmed with grief, she collapsed on the ground. Fortunately, the Jun family arrived in time and brought her back home. The soft Yanluo fabric they made had issues after being dried in the sun. Enraged, he went to confront Jun Qiluo, only to realize that she had deliberately let them take the order, knowing that they would fail to produce the fabric in time. As a result, the Zamaibu would inevitably blame them.

Jun Qiluo then offered to help them resolve the crisis, but only on the condition that her second uncle hand over the household seal of authority. Furious, Jun Yujue cursed her out, but before he could react, he was suddenly attacked and forced to kneel before Jun Qiluo. Looking at the small stones scattered on the ground, Jun Qiluo immediately thought of Xuan Lie—this was a tactic he often used. Realizing this, she quickly chased after the attacker.
