In the winter of 997, Xiao Tu and Ling Chao were born at the end of the year, one after the other. The two children formed an inseparable bond since their infancy, and their families recognized each other as godparents. However, Ling Chao refused to acknowledge Xiao Tu as his older sister by 30 days because she not only competed with him for their mother's affection but also seemed to attract trouble wherever she went. They became a pair of happy enemies.
One day, Xiao Tu's desk mate, Jiang Juanjuan, had her phone confiscated by the teacher. Out of loyalty, Xiao Tu lent her own phone to Jiang Juanjuan, but in doing so, she missed a text message from Ling Chao. Unaware that Ling Chao had already left the school, and hearing rumors of thugs robbing people around the school, Xiao Tu mistakenly believed that Ling Chao was in danger. She rushed outside the school to look for him.
After Ling Chao returned home and saw that Xiao Tu had not yet returned, he became worried and went out to search for her. After a series of comical misunderstandings, the two finally found each other under a pedestrian bridge. Looking back on their childhood, Xiao Tu had once sworn to protect and accompany Ling Chao forever, and for the first time, Ling Chao felt cared for by Xiao Tu.
