Mu Xiaoman boldly got into Gao Ling's car, startling him. She told him seriously that she wanted to accompany him on his date to see the person he was meeting and check their level. Gao Ling grinned mischievously and confirmed if she really wanted to go. Getting a positive response, Gao Ling drove to their destination.
Gao Ling brought Mu Xiaoman to meet his date, and she was surprised to see her brother, Mu Xiulun. Feeling nervous, she saw Gao Ling and Mu Xiulun play basketball together, evenly matched. After an intense game, Gao Ling was exhausted, and Mu Xiulun sat down, casually observing if Su Jishi messaged him.
Mu Xiaoman handed Gao Ling a bottle of "Love Water," and Mu Xiulun noticed Su Jishi still hadn't replied to his message, making him uneasy. Gao Ling finished the water and asked Mu Xiaoman to get another bottle for him. He then went to Mu Xiulun and said it had been a long time since they had such a fun game together. Gao Ling knew that Mu Xiulun was thinking about Su Jishi, but he understood that Su Jishi was having a hard time replacing her sister. Mu Xiulun could tell that Su Jishi was not responding to him because of something else. Gao Ling was about to say something when Mu Xiulun saw Su Jishi's message saying she wanted to join the "Love Variety Show," and he almost jumped with joy.
Mu Xiulun kept pacing in front of Gao Ling and Mu Xiaoman, trying to figure out what name to call Su Jishi when they meet. Mu Xiaoman suggested he smile, but when he tried, it came out awkward, making them burst into laughter. Mu Xiulun was surprised that the show's crew only arranged for him to record, so he asked why they weren't recording together with Su Jishi. Later, the two recorded the show separately, and Mu Xiulun told the crew that he was willing to cover the expenses, but on the condition that he and Su Jishi would record the next episode together.
Mu Xiaoman wrote her first love letter to Gao Ling, and he nervously took it, trying to act indifferent. Gao Ling couldn't understand why both he and Mu Xiulun had chosen geological-themed places for their dates, and the crew complained about it. Feeling someone watching them, Gao Ling pretended to have a stomach ache to get Mu Xiaoman to come out, and she left angrily.
Mu Xiulun said he only cared about Su Jishi's feelings, but Su Jishi felt that he was becoming straightforward after not seeing each other for a few days, which made it hard for her to handle. Mu Xiulun told Su Jishi that if external events led to their breakup, he would investigate the truth and hoped they could be honest and trust each other. Su Jishi was furious to hear this and accused Mu Xiulun of betraying her sister's feelings, unable to differentiate between the two of them. She then asked Mu Xiulun to set up a tent for her, recalling her sister's diary where she mentioned that her crush had set up a tent for her. Su Jishi got angry and left when she saw Mu Xiulun approaching with the tent.
Mu Xiaoman cried and said she wanted to understand Gao Ling, making him feel overwhelmed by her affection. Su Jishi felt she had been impulsive earlier. Seeing that Mu Xiulun would disappear early, she didn't think he was the person her sister had a crush on and felt relieved. Su Jishi's face changed when she heard Chen Shiyi saying she was Mu Xiulun's rumored girlfriend from university. Su Jishi nearly revealed herself but Mu Xiulun quickly found an excuse to take her away.
Su Jishi asked Fang Jie who Qin Qiu was and found out about his relationship with Su Jinqing. She felt the urge to confront Fang Jie. Mu Xiulun also learned about Qin Qiu's connection to Su Jishi from Mu Xiaoman. Mu Xiulun felt jealous when he saw Qin Qiu being attentive to Su Jishi and tried to intervene. Mu Xiulun lost the game, and Su Jishi asked him to sing. But thinking about her sister's words in the diary, he became conflicted. The next morning, Su Jishi refused Mu Xiulun's breakfast and chose to drive separately from him.
Gao Ling struggled with how to approach Mu Xiaoman's prepared lunch. Mu Xiulun competed with Su Jishi in fishing, and he lost. When he saw Su Jishi preparing to give fish to Qin Qiu, Mu Xiulun quickly intervened. Mu Xiulun was shocked to learn that he and Su Jishi were in a contractual relationship and not truly dating. Su Jishi was taking photos, and the photographer asked them to get closer. Su Jishi hesitated, and Mu Xiulun took the chance to kiss her while she wasn't paying attention.
