Seeing her concern, Qu Zheng tied their hands together with a long red string that had bells attached to it to help ease her worries. Qu Zheng played the qin outside to help her sleep. Baiwan was touched and delighted, and the atmosphere between the two became very warm.
At this moment, Qu Zheng also confirmed that Baiwan was indeed the person he had been searching for, and he thoroughly enjoyed their time together. Back at the Nine Layers of the Ghostly Palace, the young palace master sought out the palace lord after the responsibility of investigating the *Puyuan True Scripture* had been given to the Xue Yue Envoy. However, the palace lord simply said that strength would determine everything in the Nine Layers of the Ghostly Valley.
