Tong Yao was skillfully tapping on the keyboard, as if a musician was playing a melody. Speaking of Tong Yao, she was no ordinary player—she was the number one Tamamo-no-Mae in the national server. On the large screen, the game character controlled by Chen Jinyang darted left and right, slaughtering enemy heroes one after another.

The onlookers cheered enthusiastically for her, and Tong Yao did not disappoint—she easily secured a pentakill. When the game ended, before Tong Yao could even speak, Chen Jinyang anxiously dragged her away. The two strode out of the internet café. At the entrance, Chen Jinyang told Tong Yao that she had broken up with her boyfriend, then pulled her along for a shopping trip. His teammates turned to look at him, but he remained silent, leaving indifferently with the group. Later, Tong Yao went to the supermarket to buy daily necessities. Since there were no more bottled water packs left, she hid one on the highest shelf. Coincidentally, Lu Sicheng also happened to be at the supermarket and witnessed her strange behavior.

The unexpected pick stunned everyone present.

As the match began, Jian Yang was clearly out of form—first, he misplayed and got caught, then he was ambushed and killed in the jungle. The game quickly fell apart for CK, and after three consecutive deaths, his teammates grew impatient. Later, in a crucial team fight, Jian Yang made another mistake and got himself killed. ZGDX seized the opportunity and secured victory with their growing advantage. After the match, a frustrated Jian Yang left the stage.

Outside the competition area, Jian Yang ran into Tong Yao and started apologizing, but she wasn’t interested. Their conversation ended on a sour note. In the second match, Jian Yang picked his signature champion, Eternal Bamboo. Fueled by rage, he unleashed his frustration on ZGDX, executing one flawless move after another and leading CK to dominate. However, on the bot lane, Lu Sicheng pulled off a spectacular double kill against CK’s mid-laner and jungler, securing an advantage for his team.

As both teams grouped up, a tense game of cat-and-mouse began on the map—though it seemed calm, an intense battle was brewing. In the blink of an eye, Jian Yang’s Eternal Bamboo struck like a divine warrior. The moment ZGDX’s AD appeared, he was instantly killed, tilting the game heavily in CK’s favor. Jian Yang went on a rampage, slicing through ZGDX mercilessly like the Grim Reaper himself.

In the end, ZGDX was wiped out, and CK successfully equalized the score at 1-1. In the audience, watching her ex-boyfriend reclaim his pride, Tong Yao pouted, lost in thought. After a short break, the third match began. ZGDX focused on targeting Jian Yang, causing CK to fall behind. Soon, the battle over the Great Serpent began. Jian Yang, lying in wait, successfully stole the objective. CK seized the momentum and launched a counterattack.

A fierce team fight erupted in the mid-lane. In the end, only Jian Yang and Lu Sicheng remained standing. The two engaged in a breathtaking duel, each showcasing their unique skills. However, Lu Sicheng was ultimately outmatched by Jian Yang. CK charged forward, breaking into ZGDX’s base and claiming the championship title. While CK basked in victory, Ming Shen, haunted by regret over his hand injury, blamed himself for their loss.

Just as the crowd was preparing to leave, Ming Shen returned to the stage and announced his retirement. His heartfelt speech moved the audience to tears, and fans began cheering for him one last time. Meanwhile, Tong Yao finally made up her mind—she decided to join ZGDX.
