The ZGDX team was preparing for the match against A Tai. Tong Yao was doing some light warm-ups while chatting with her teammates. At that moment, Lu Sicheng reminded her that the match was about to start. Tong Yao quickly sat back down, but her nervousness left her completely flustered—she couldn’t even find her mouse. Seeing this, Lu Sicheng gently held her hand.

Tong Yao was visibly startled, but after helping her locate the mouse, Lu Sicheng comforted her with a few words of reassurance. As the match began, Tong Yao chose the same champion she had been crushed with last time. Due to her nerves, she kept making mistakes and played extremely timidly, retreating at the slightest sign of danger. Noticing her poor performance, Lu Sicheng began provoking her verbally, trying to snap her out of it.

However, Tong Yao only grew more anxious, her hands even starting to tremble. Despite her teammates sacrificing themselves to create opportunities for her, she remained hesitant, resulting in their deaths. Soon, a team fight erupted. Lao K was the first to dive in, sacrificing himself, but Tong Yao failed to capitalize on the opportunity. Lao Mao also rushed in to assist, but she still hesitated, causing her teammates to shake their heads in disappointment.

Just then, perhaps due to Lu Sicheng’s taunts or a sudden surge of determination, Tong Yao finally decided to fight back. Soon, only she and A Tai were left on the battlefield. Fearful, she considered recalling to base, but Lu Sicheng encouraged her to keep pushing the lane. In front of TAT’s nexus crystal, Tong Yao confronted A Tai head-on. Overcoming her mental block, she maneuvered skillfully while attacking the tower. In the end, ZGDX secured victory.

Her teammates cheered for her. As the match concluded, Tong Yao stared at the victory screen, her fingers still mechanically issuing attack commands, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. The ZGDX team gathered behind her, and after she snapped out of it, they all started joking around. To celebrate, they decided to use team funds for a feast. Not long after, ZGDX was on their way to another match.

On the team bus, Tong Yao was watching videos online and discussing them with Xiao Rui when Lu Sicheng suddenly snatched her phone away, telling her that those scripts were written in advance. However, Xiao Rui mercilessly exposed him. Suddenly, the driver slammed on the brakes. Tong Yao, who had been standing, lost her balance and was about to fall. In a split second, Lu Sicheng pulled her into his arms, shocking everyone on the bus.

Lu Yue, sitting in the back, even took out his phone to take a picture, exaggerating the situation while reporting it to their mother. At the barbecue gathering, everyone was enjoying their food and drinks when Lu Sicheng’s mother called. Curious, Tong Yao asked Lu Yue who it was, but he remained mysterious about it. When Lu Sicheng returned and picked up the call, Tong Yao mistakenly thought he had a girlfriend.

Overcome with jealousy, she excused herself to the restroom. When she returned, she saw that Lu Sicheng was still on the phone and decided to focus on grilling meat instead. Lu Sicheng’s mother continued bombarding him with calls. Left with no choice, he answered again. This time, she brought up an arranged blind date. Seeing Lu Sicheng struggle, Lu Yue took over the call, trying to help, but their mother easily threatened him into submission.

Meanwhile, Tong Yao overheard that the woman was incredibly accomplished, which left her feeling unsettled. After the small episode, Lu Sicheng made another call to his mother for reasons unknown. Meanwhile, the rest of the ZGDX team enjoyed their barbecue while discussing strategies for upcoming matches. Watching Lu Sicheng’s figure from afar, Tong Yao found herself captivated. The next day, ZGDX focused on studying their opponents’ tactics and improving their synergy through practice matches.

While they were gathered discussing strategy, Lu Sicheng went downstairs to grab his keys, preparing to leave. Noticing this, Tong Yao quickly stood up to ask where he was going. Patiently, Lu Sicheng explained before thoughtfully handing her a pair of slippers. At the agreed meeting spot, Lu Sicheng originally planned to send Su Luo home immediately, but she was so taken by his looks that she even rushed to the restroom to touch up her makeup.

Su Luo was naturally a stunning beauty with a soft, gentle voice. As Lu Sicheng sat down, he received a message from Tong Yao, and they exchanged a few words. When Su Luo returned, Lu Sicheng took her to buy octopus snacks for Tong Yao. At the stall, he quickly attracted the attention of those around him. Listening to the surrounding compliments about Lu Sicheng, Su Luo felt delighted. Just as they were about to leave, it suddenly started raining.

Ever the gentleman, Lu Sicheng ran to get the car, which only made Su Luo even more impressed. After getting in the car, Lu Sicheng bluntly expressed his thoughts. Upon hearing his rejection, Su Luo was visibly disappointed. Back at the base, Tong Yao anxiously scrolled through match videos, distracted by Lu Sicheng’s prolonged absence. Seeing this, Lu Yue started making sarcastic remarks, further irritating her. Feeling increasingly frustrated, Tong Yao turned down Lu Yue’s offer for a match, making an excuse to return to her room.
