The defeated members of ZGDX reflected in the lounge, and Ming Shen briefly pointed out several issues with the team's performance. After listening to Ming Shen, Lu Sicheng explained why his playstyle had changed in the previous match. Seeing his silent teammates, Lao Mao, still furious, slammed the table and left the room. As the second match began, ZGDX’s uncharacteristic lineup choice shocked the commentators, signaling a four-protect-one strategy.

Both teams played cautiously at first, but after more than ten minutes, a team fight finally broke out in the bot lane. However, just as the entire ZGDX team grouped up, YQCB decisively retreated, leaving ZGDX frustrated and murmuring complaints, with Lao Mao being the most vocal. Soon, YQCB started attacking the Baron, and while Lao Mao suggested a split push, Lu Sicheng insisted on contesting it.

Tong Yao went in first and instantly eliminated Ai Jia, but Lao Mao, forced into the fight, was quickly killed, followed by Lao K, who failed to steal the Baron. The situation turned unfavorable. As the rest of ZGDX called for a retreat, Lu Sicheng pressed forward. Perhaps burdened by too much, he fought with all his skill but couldn’t change the outcome.

As his champion fell on the now-dark screen, ZGDX was wiped out, and YQCB swiftly destroyed the Nexus, securing another loss for ZGDX. The defeated players watched the shattered Nexus with complicated emotions. When the teams shook hands, Jiao Huang informed Tong Yao that Lu Sicheng’s hand injury had flared up again and entrusted her to take good care of him.

On the way back, the ZGDX members sat in silence on the team bus, each lost in their own heavy thoughts. After returning to the base, Xiao Rui did his best to comfort everyone, but to little effect. Unable to hold back any longer, Lao Mao erupted, loudly questioning Lu Sicheng. Faced with his teammates’ concerns, Lu Sicheng chose to remain silent. As tensions escalated, Tong Yao revealed Lu Sicheng’s hand injury.

Soon after, Xiao Rui, who had just finished a phone call, also confirmed the situation. Although Lao Mao now understood the circumstances, he remained emotional, accusing Lu Sicheng of not trusting his teammates before storming off. Xiao Pang and the others quickly followed him outside to calm him down. After much effort, they finally managed to soothe Lao Mao’s emotions. With the team’s mood temporarily stabilized, Xiao Rui and Ming Shen began discussing the situation.

Xiao Rui started questioning whether bringing Tong Yao to the team had been the right decision. Hearing this, Ming Shen expressed a different perspective. Meanwhile, at the base, Tong Yao fetched medicine for Lu Sicheng, but he refused to open the door. Left with no choice, she crouched outside, silently keeping him company. Elsewhere, the other ZGDX members went to an internet café for casual games, but seeing others laughing and enjoying themselves only made them feel more conflicted.

Xiao Rui, overwhelmed by everything, opted to drink his worries away. Sitting outside the door, Tong Yao tried persuading Lu Sicheng. Listening to her words, he seemed deep in thought. At the bar, Xiao Rui, under the influence of alcohol, finally opened up about his feelings and then, unable to hold back anymore, broke down in tears. Perhaps Tong Yao’s tearful words and emotional outpouring moved Lu Sicheng—he suddenly found the strength to pull himself together.

When he finally opened the door, he immediately pulled Tong Yao into a tight embrace. Once he had calmed down, Tong Yao sent a message to the rest of the team, arranging a meeting for the next day. The next day, Lu Sicheng and Tong Yao waited downstairs at the base early in the morning. Worried about Lu Sicheng feeling pressured, Tong Yao held onto his arm tightly.

At exactly 2 PM, the base’s doors swung open as the rest of the team arrived with determined expressions. Seeing everyone gathered, Lu Sicheng took the initiative to apologize, and the lingering tensions among them melted away. With the apology accepted, all eyes turned to Lao Mao. Despite trying to maintain a tough exterior, he could no longer hold back and, in tears, threw himself into Lu Sicheng’s arms. The atmosphere within ZGDX finally returned to normal.

Just as the team was enjoying the moment, Lu Sicheng received a call from the police station. He and Tong Yao went to confront Mo Mo and her family. Realizing the severity of the situation, Mo Mo’s family began apologizing, but their words revolved around using her age as an excuse. Hearing this, Lu Sicheng frowned slightly and chose not to accept any reconciliation. With their last resort gone, Mo Mo’s parents quickly changed their attitude, becoming sharp-tongued and bitter. Seeing this, the officer mediating the case lost patience, and in the end, Mo Mo received the punishment she deserved.
