In the morning, Tong Yao groggily woke up. After a quick wash-up, she went downstairs and happened to run into Xiao Rui, who teasingly commented on her. Slowly recalling her embarrassing actions from the night before, Tong Yao felt an overwhelming sense of shame and collapsed onto her bed, unable to face reality. Before long, Tong Yao, now wearing a mask, quietly snuck out of her room and sat at her computer desk.

Meanwhile, the early-rising Lu Sicheng opened the fridge only to find his yogurt missing, so he went to confront Tong Yao. The two had a brief conversation, during which Lu Sicheng vividly described her humiliating behavior from last night before mercilessly scolding her. After returning to her room, Tong Yao called Chen Jinyang, and while they were chatting, Ai Jia suddenly emerged from the bathtub and joined the conversation. Embarrassed, Chen Jinyang hurriedly hung up.

After the call, Tong Yao noticed a message from Jian Yang but chose not to reply. Downstairs, the ZGDX team was preparing for training when Tong Yao, still wearing a monkey mask, came down to join them. However, she found Lu Yue sitting at her computer, leading to a small argument. Eventually, Tong Yao used a little trick to deceive Lu Yue into giving up the seat. Soon, it was lunchtime, and everyone gathered at the table.

Seeing Lu Yue sitting there eating, Xiao Pang and Lao K took some food and immediately left. Lao Mao, who was slow to react, didn't realize what was happening at first but soon followed suit with his plate in hand. That evening, just as Tong Yao was about to sleep, she noticed someone using her account. Curious, she went downstairs to check. As expected, Lu Yue was sitting in her spot, playing ranked games with the other ZGDX members.

In this match, Lu Yue was laning against A Tai, using the exact same champion lineup that Tong Yao had previously played. As the match progressed, seeing the familiar strategies made Tong Yao so nervous that she clenched her pants tightly. Unexpectedly, A Tai’s tactics didn’t work against the notoriously passive Lu Yue, who managed to kill him repeatedly. The game quickly swung in ZGDX’s favor, and they soon secured victory by destroying A Tai’s nexus.

Thrilled by the win, Tong Yao praised Lu Yue. Just as Lu Yue proudly boasted about his past achievements, Xiao Pang poured cold water on the moment by calling Lu Yue the reason for Ming Shen’s injury and firmly stating that he refused to be teammates with Lu Yue. After saying his piece, Xiao Pang stormed off angrily. Seeing the situation turn sour, Lu Sicheng immediately went after him to check on him.

Lao Mao, having spoken out of turn, was also scolded by Lao K. Feeling guilty, Lu Yue left in distress. Back in her room, Tong Yao, curious about what she had heard, searched online about ZGDX’s past. She discovered that the team had once been highly favored to win but withdrew from the finals, causing a huge scandal. The incident involved Lu Yue and Ming Shen.

Still not fully understanding the details, Tong Yao went downstairs to get some water and happened to overhear Xiao Pang and Lao K talking. She tried to defend Lu Yue, but their attitudes toward him remained unchanged. The night passed without further incident. The next morning, Tong Yao was woken up by a phone call from her best friend.

Apparently, an old video had been leaked online, triggering a massive controversy, and ZGDX had suddenly become the target of widespread criticism. Soon, an internal meeting was held at ZGDX. After analyzing the situation, Xiao Rui suspected that someone from within the team was responsible. At that moment, Xiao Pang stepped forward and admitted to being the one who leaked the video, launching into an angry tirade against Lu Yue.

As Xiao Pang grew more agitated, even Ming Shen stepping in to defend Lu Yue couldn’t calm him down. Finally, Lu Yue reached his limit, and the two nearly came to blows before the others hurriedly intervened to separate them. To cool off, Tong Yao took Xiao Pang outside for some fresh air. Xiao Pang then recounted the past events to her. It turned out that after a match, ZGDX and another team went out for drinks.

The opposing team, having lost the match, refused to acknowledge ZGDX’s players who stood up to toast them and even made disparaging remarks about Lu Sicheng. As his younger brother, Lu Yue wanted to show his loyalty and drank an entire bucket of alcohol. Later, while using the restroom, Lu Yue overheard A Ge and his group badmouthing his brother and accusing him of being in the team only because of connections.

Fueled by alcohol, Lu Yue smashed a bottle over A Ge’s head, which led to him being brutally beaten. At that moment, Ming Shen happened to pass by and immediately stepped in to protect Lu Yue, but he was pushed to the ground, sustaining a deep cut on his wrist. From then on, Ming Shen’s hand could no longer handle the demands of professional gaming, directly leading to his retirement. Upon hearing this, Tong Yao finally understood the whole story. Just then, Chen Jinyang called Tong Yao, informing her that Ai Jia was currently live-streaming and defending Lu Yue.
