Early in the morning, when Liu Jia and Xiao Renyan were having breakfast, they heard from the maidservant that Yuanpa had been stolen. Liu Jia was very nervous, but Xiao Renyan pretended to be indifferent. Then, someone from Madame Xiao's side asked Xiao Renyan and Liu Jia to go together to find Yuanpa. Liu Jia was naturally very worried because Yuanpa was a very important item. When Xiao's father learned about this, he was very angry and said that Liu Jia's innocence couldn't be proved. He even wanted to take Liu Jia out and beat her severely. At this point, Liu Jia suggested that Meng Hanjiao should go first to offer tea. If both of their Yuanpas were found to have problems, they would be punished together.
Meng Hanjiao naturally thought that she had no problem, so she went to offer tea. However, when the maidservant brought out the Yuanpa, they found that there were two of them. Everyone present was surprised. In fact, all of this was Liu Jia's plan. When she was in the toilet, she heard Meng Hanjiao cursing her. Now Liu Jia turned the tables on Meng Hanjiao. Xiao Renyan also began to stir things up and said that the two of them could get remarried. Since Yuanpa had been found, but there was no red mark on it, Liu Jia quickly looked to Xiao Renyan for help. In fact, they had both been worrying about Yuanpa the night before, but Xiao Renyan asked Liu Jia to solve it herself.
So Liu Jia began to deliberately say that Xiao Renyan was not kind, and pushed all the blame onto him. Xiao Renyan couldn't argue back anymore.
