Ji Fanyi was shocked to discover that Yu Jiao was not a human. He quickly went to find An Xiner, thinking that if Yu Jiao and Yu Sheng were of the same kind, then Yu Sheng must also be a monster. An Xiner assured him that Yu Sheng and the others were not monsters; they were just neighbors from another planet and meant no harm. Ji Fanyi warned An Xiner that he could keep this information to himself, but she had to break up with Yu Sheng. This made Yu Sheng angry, and he wanted to confront Ji Fanyi physically.
An Xiner tried to win over Li Xinyi, suggesting that she become the administrative manager for Hua Ning. However, Li Xinyi didn't agree. Ji Fanyi took An Xiner to a nearby property he had bought, intending for her to move in there before the filming ended. He wanted her to stay away from Yu Sheng, but An Xiner rejected his proposal and told him not to interfere in her life.
Xia La bossed Li Xinyi around, even making her change her shoes. Wang Youming felt sorry for Li Xinyi and planned to talk to Ling Zhi about it, but Li Xinyi stopped him. They all worked together, and Wang Youming didn't want any trouble.
Yu Jiao developed feelings for Ji Fanyi and wanted to be his girlfriend, but he repeatedly refused. He couldn't date someone who wasn't of the same kind as him. Ji Fanyi claimed he had been confessed to by someone extraordinary, and his assistant noticed that something was off with him. The assistant couldn't understand why Ji Fanyi regarded Yu Jiao as extraordinary when she seemed quite ordinary in her eyes.
Li Xinyi's mother was hospitalized due to a severe illness, and Li Xinyi urgently asked for leave from Xia La to visit her. However, Xia La refused, claiming she was too busy with work, and asked Li Xinyi to go after work. Yu Sheng overheard the conversation and went to take care of Li Xinyi's mother. After Li Xinyi finished work, she went to the hospital and thanked Yu Sheng for his help. But she felt that Yu Sheng's assistance must have some ulterior motive, and she couldn't let her guard down. Yu Sheng didn't hide his intentions and said they wanted to investigate some clues related to the Shang Zhan case. Wang Youming was definitely aware of this and hoped that Li Xinyi would cooperate. Yu Jiao asked Yu Sheng for money, bought flowers, and confessed her feelings to Ji Fanyi again, only to be rejected once more. Wang Youming advised Li Xinyi to work in Sha City, where Ling Zhi had already arranged everything for her, and she would even receive a promotion. But Li Xinyi didn't want to be labeled as a thief and insisted on staying to prove her innocence. An Xiner helped Li Xinyi find evidence that nothing was missing from the dressing room, and someone deliberately framed her to drive her away. Li Xinyi didn't know whom she had offended to end up in such a situation. An Xiner suggested that Wang Youming reveal some clues about the Shang Zhan case to Li Xinyi so she could think it over.
After careful consideration, Li Xinyi decided to tell Wang Youming about the situation at home. He advised her not to worry about the incident and, after Li Xinyi left, he opened his computer, recalling the events on the yacht that day. He had been curious about the luxurious yacht's interior and recorded it with his phone. The recording captured Ling Zhi strangling Shang Zhan. Wang Youming hesitated about whether to delete the video when Li Xinyi walked in. He quickly closed the computer.
