> Follow Your Heart Recap
Liu Ruoqian did not get discouraged and followed Yan Nanxing to Hua Xiang Rong. Although the shop only hired women, he believed he could do a better job than the female workers. Liu Ruoqian charmed the ladies present, leaving them captivated. Despite Yan Nanxing's firm principles, Liu Ruoqian offered to work without pay during the trial period, which made Yan Nanxing hesitate. Jiang Xinbai created a commotion outside the crowd, and Yan Nanxing quickly pulled him outside to talk.
Jiang Xinbai advised her not to hire Liu Ruoqian until he had investigated him, but Yan Nanxing's rebellious nature was stirred. She decided to hire Liu Ruoqian, which made Jiang Xinbai's face turn green with frustration. Jiang Xinbai had someone watch Liu Ruoqian every day. One day, he summoned Liu Ruoqian for questioning.
Liu Ruoqian answered flawlessly but eventually revealed the relationship between Shang Bieli and Manager Cao with a sincere look, making Jiang Xinbai think he might be an honest person. Tong Saier ordered an expensive meal at the restaurant and, when asked to pay, lightly pushed the waiter, causing him to fall. Mr. Lan decided to let her stay and work there. Jiang Suoluo arrived at the teahouse, and the manager quickly assigned Tong Saier to be her guard.
Meanwhile, Yan Nanxing found out about Longxin Teahouse, another place besides Ghost Market to gather information, and today was the day the informant would arrive. Yan Nanxing went to Longxin Teahouse as instructed and displayed all the signs. Sure enough, an accountant approached her. He uttered four words and demanded fifty taels of gold for the reading, which infuriated Yan Nanxing and drew a crowd. Jiang Suoluo intervened, preventing the manager from handling the situation.
She brought Tong Saier to meet Yan Nanxing and asked about her relationship with Jiang Xinbai. Realizing the strained relationship between Jiang Xinbai and Jiang Suoluo, Yan Nanxing silently mocked Jiang Xinbai for even offending his own sister. Yan Nanxing tried to slip away, but Tong Saier, whose portrait was destroyed, immediately chased after her with the intent to kill. Shang Bieli arrived just in time to stop the chaos.
Yan Nanxing, fearing they would be taken away by Shang Bieli, claimed they were just fooling around. Tong Saier, wanting to see if Shang Bieli was her long-lost brother, tried to remove his mask, but he fiercely grabbed her wrist and took her away along with the entire province of Yunnan. In prison, Yan Nanxing was distressed while Tong Saier, holding her brother's portrait, demanded compensation. Yan Nanxing, unable to shake her off, agreed to help restore the portrait.
Still worried about how to get out, Yao Qianshu came to bail her out. Tong Saier insisted on going with her, leaving Yao Qianshu no choice but to take them both. Shang Bieli, hearing about their release, came to gloat in front of Jiang Xinbai, only to be sharply rebuked by Tong Saier, leaving him speechless. Tong Saier continued to follow Yan Nanxing closely, no matter what.
Jiang Xinbai persistently followed, advising Yan Nanxing not to provoke people she shouldn't, as he couldn't always be by her side. Back home, Yan Nanxing found Liu Ruoqian teaching Tong Saier to read. Having grown up in the countryside, she was familiar with plants and spices, so Yan Nanxing decided to let her work there. However, Tong Saier still owed money to Longxin Teahouse. Yan Nanxing had to pay off her debt and prepare food for her.
Tong Saier, worried about the danger from offending the teahouse owner, and Liu Ruoqian teamed up to persuade Yan Nanxing to seek help from Jiang Xinbai. But Yan Nanxing overheard that Shang Bieli had a mysterious past and suspected he might be her long-lost brother. She snuck into Shang Bieli's house at night. Tong Saier also went there to find her brother, and the two, dressed in night clothes, caused a commotion in Shang Bieli's residence. Tong Saier managed to escape, but Yan Nanxing was captured.
