Liu Ruoqian packed his belongings early in the morning to bid farewell to Jiang Suoluo. He wanted to leave, but Jiang Suoluo disagreed. Wasn't he the one who said he belonged to her? Liu Ruoqian responded somewhat crestfallen; indeed, he belonged to Jiang Suoluo, but she had never claimed him as her own. Hearing this, Jiang Suoluo assertively kissed Liu Ruoqian. As they passionately kissed, Yan Biqing barged in with wedding attire.

Jiang Suoluo quickly hid Liu Ruoqian inside the room. Yan Biqing was cold towards her, but upon noticing Liu Ruoqian's belongings on the floor, he circled the room displeased. He asserted they were meant to be together forever, sanctioned by the Empress herself. Jiang Suoluo, furious, drove Yan Biqing away. When Shang Bieli entered the palace in casual attire, Tong Saier hid nearby, swooning over him with joy. The Empress summoned Princess Zhouyang and Shang Bieli, leaving them alone shortly after. Shang Bieli intended to discuss Jiang Suoluo, but the Empress remained silent on the matter.

Jiang Xinbai visited Huaxiangrong to find Tong Saier, deliberately informing them about Shang Bieli's matchmaking. Tong Saier was crestfallen to learn that Shang Bieli dressed up so nicely for an arranged meeting. Yan Nanxing and Liu Ruoqian added fuel to the fire, hoping Tong Saier would face her feelings. They believed she would eventually understand their intentions. In the palace, Shang Bieli declined Princess Zhouyang, confessing his feelings for another.

Despite no engagement or promise between them, he wanted to treat her well and make her the happiest woman in the world. Princess Zhouyang understood and encouraged him to express his feelings to the one he loved, even offering to speak to the Empress herself. After leaving the palace, Shang Bieli went to Huaxiangrong. Liu Ruoqian exaggeratedly informed him that Tong Saier had left distraught, prompting Shang Bieli to hastily follow her.

In the forest, they stumbled upon a trap mechanism. Shang Bieli protected Tong Saier and expressed his feelings. His third wish was for her to be with him. Tong Saier and Shang Bieli finally clarified their relationship. Even if it were Princess Zhouyang, he might not have expressed his feelings so soon. In Shang Bieli's heart, Tong Saier was beautiful and smart, the best woman for him. Late at night, Yan Biqing and Bai Yuan discussed matters.

Yan Biqing was curious about Bai Yuan's relationship with Yan Nanxing, sensing Bai Yuan's lingering intentions. Jiang Xinbai mentioned Yan Nanxing hadn't transformed in a while; could she be pregnant? Before he finished speaking, Yan Nanxing transformed into a little boy.
