Qin Moyao was taking a bath at home when Lin Xintong found him. She told him that her eyes could see again and that she had witnessed Chi Shan and Xia Yuwei betraying her. However, when she saw Qin Moyao's face, she immediately recognized that it was him who had a conflict with her father at home in the past, leading to her father leaving her. Qin Moyao explained that it wasn't as she had seen it; he had been brought by Chi Shan to change the will and had never killed her father.
But Lin Xintong insisted that Qin Moyao was the one who had killed her father. Otherwise, why didn't he admit it earlier? Qin Moyao suddenly kissed Lin Xintong, making her wonder if it felt the same. He just felt that the situation was too complicated and didn't want Lin Xintong to get involved. However, Lin Xintong remained stubborn and walked away from him. Qin Moyao drowned his sorrows in alcohol, and Zhou Mo tried to persuade him that enduring the pain was better than prolonging it, but Qin Moyao believed that now that Lin Xintong could see again, she posed a greater threat to Chi Shan and was therefore more dangerous.

Lin Xintong thought about whether Qin Moyao's words were true or false. She decided to go downstairs and find out. She still concealed the fact that she could see again and, with the help of a servant, arrived in the living room. When the lawyer announced the contents of her father's will, Chi Shan was shocked and believed that the will was incorrect. Lin Xintong, after hearing this, knew that what Qin Moyao had said was true.
