When only Lin Xintong and Qin Moyao were left, Qin Moyao couldn't help but admire Lin Xintong's acting skills. Lin Xintong said that they had been acting in front of her for so long, so how could she possibly lose to them? Qin Moyao believed that since they had already torn off the facade, they should just drive them away. However, Lin Xintong wanted to keep them around to let them make mistakes on their own. Qin Moyao was somewhat anxious, and he wanted Lin Xintong to understand that Chi Shan and the others were capable of even murder. Lin Xintong also reminded Qin Moyao not to really take her for a fool. She was certain that Xia Yuwei would come to beg her to stay within ten seconds.
Sure enough, Xia Yuwei came over in tears, pleading with Lin Xintong to let her stay because she had nowhere else to go. She promised to listen to Lin Xintong in the future. Xia Yuwei angrily sought out Chi Shan and was upset that he had distanced himself from her today and hadn't come forward to help her when it mattered. Chi Shan hastily explained that he couldn't intervene under those circumstances. They discussed how to get rid of Qin Moyao because they believed today's incident was orchestrated by him. Xia Yuwei and Qin Moyao accompanied Lin Xintong to see a doctor, and suddenly, a few people with sticks rushed towards them in the underground parking lot.
Qin Moyao rushed over to block them, urging Lin Xintong to leave quickly. Lin Xintong safely returned home and anxiously called Qin Moyao. Fortunately, Qin Moyao came back, and Lin Xintong hugged him tightly. She noticed that there was blood on his clothes, which made her even more worried. Qin Moyao told her it wasn't his blood and was touched by Lin Xintong's concern. He prepared to kiss her, but Lin Xintong quickly avoided it. Xia Yuwei was angry that Chi Shan didn't consider her and had someone deal with Qin Moyao. She told Chi Shan that she had replaced Lin Xintong's medicine, but she suspected that Lin Xintong could already see. Chi Shan was very nervous upon hearing this.
