Chi Shan seized Lin Xintong and pressed the dagger against her neck, forcing Qin Moyao to kneel before him and beg for Lin Xintong's safety. Qin Moyao, in great pain, crawled over and genuinely knelt before Chi Shan to plead for Lin Xintong's life, deeply distressing Lin Xintong.
Seeing Qin Moyao kneeling before him to save Lin Xintong, Chi Shan felt an immense satisfaction. He turned and approached, holding an umbrella for Lin Xintong. She took his arm, and together they prepared to visit their father's grave.
