Royal Feast” is a story about a young girl, Yao Zijin, who was chosen to be a court lady in the Imperial Food Bureau during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty. Then she grew up with all kinds of difficulties and gained friendship and love finally.
In the drama, Yao Zijin is played by Wu Jinyan, while Xu Kai plays the role of Emperor Zhu Zhanji.
