Synopsis
Chengdu native Lu Zhenzhen works at a hotel in Beijing, enjoying a successful career and a sweet romance. Her fiery best friend, Gu Manting, chooses to stay in bustling Chengdu to assist her Sichuanese father, renowned chef Gu Dapeng, in running the time-honored restaurant "Chuan Bailou."
Both were smoothly progressing on their respective paths until the appearance of Liang Qingran, a prominent figure in the culinary industry, disrupts their lives. Liang poachs Lu Zhenzhen's fiancé, Liu Siyuan, from Beijing to Chengdu to start a business, swiftly rising to success and posing a significant threat to "Chuan Bailou."
Now Lu Zhenzhen and Gu Manting face critical decisions in their lives, navigating emotional clashes and career challenges. These three modern women, who initially met through adversity, break conventions and ultimately stand shoulder to shoulder.
