Lu Xingyan and Shen Xingruo worked together to finally get rid of Zhang Xu and the crew. Lu Xingyan took them out on a location scouting trip, leaving Shen Xingruo behind in the editing room to delete the footage. He led the group to the massage room and had them experience the resort's massage services.
Zhang Xu didn’t think much of it, trusting that since Lu Xingyan said this was an important location, there must be a good reason for it. Based on the previous voting results, the program continued with a switch in participant pairings. This time, Shen Xingruo and Xu Chengzhou were the ones without scheduled dates, meaning they had the option to join a date if they wanted to. The pressure now fell on Xu Chengzhou.
Chen Zhu and Yu Si didn’t have much of a connection at first, but surprisingly, Chen Zhu quickly became interested in Yu Si. This made Xu Chengzhou nervous as Chen Zhu and Yu Si went on a date. However, Xu Chengzhou was overthinking it. Chen Zhu only went on the date with Yu Si to provoke Xu Chengzhou and had no intention of developing anything with him.
Yang Tianjiao, upon hearing that Shen Xingruo wasn’t planning to join a date, intentionally sought out Zhang Xu and gave him some professional advice from the perspective of the show's appeal. Her suggestion was for Shen Xingruo to participate in the date to create more tension between the three. Zhang Xu contacted Shen Xingruo and persuaded her to join the date, emphasizing that it would make the show more interesting for the audience.
In the end, Shen Xingruo agreed to participate. The activity for the three participants was a drawing challenge, where they had to draw each other. Lu Xingyan drew Di Jiajing, Di Jiajing drew Shen Xingruo, and Shen Xingruo drew Lu Xingyan. The atmosphere among the three was quite harmonious. Di Jiajing had no intention of breaking up Lu Xingyan and Shen Xingruo; she only said a few lines for the show's effect, designed to intrigue the audience.
Di Jiajing also gave a high evaluation of Shen Xingruo, mentioning that they had been high school classmates. She always thought Shen Xingruo was an impressive person, almost like she had a magnetic charm that made people naturally gravitate toward her, including Lu Xingyan. Lu Xingyan was very clever, drawing Di Jiajing in the middle of a courtroom scene with many people. His smart approach kept Shen Xingruo at ease and didn’t give Di Jiajing any other ideas.
Lu Xingyan didn’t expect Shen Xingruo to actually join the date. Shen Xingruo explained that it was Zhang Xu's arrangement. The two then made plans to meet later that night to have a proper conversation about their relationship. Meanwhile, Chen Zhu and Yu Si went on their date, and Xu Chengzhou, in disguise, secretly followed them. During their date, most of the conversation revolved around Xu Chengzhou.
Chen Zhu admitted that this was the first time she experienced such warmth and attentiveness from a guy. With Xu Chengzhou, it was always playful banter. While she liked this as a child, as she got older, her feelings began to change. Xu Chengzhou, however, had remained the same, like a boy who never grew up, and this left Chen Zhu feeling exhausted. Xu Chengzhou overheard what Chen Zhu said and was deep in thought, feeling somewhat hurt.
After the date, Yu Si offered some advice. He sensed that Chen Zhu still had feelings for Xu Chengzhou but that her high expectations were making her overly critical. Yu Si suggested she should talk to Xu Chengzhou directly. Sure enough, that evening, Chen Zhu went to Xu Chengzhou’s room. Xu Chengzhou knew why Chen Zhu had come.
They were still in the cooling-off period before their divorce, and it seemed to Xu Chengzhou that Chen Zhu wanted to break up for good. In a few days, they could go to the Civil Affairs Bureau and officially finalize the divorce. Chen Zhu didn’t expect such a drastic change in Xu Chengzhou. He wasn’t like Yu Si—he couldn’t pretend to be that way and had grown tired of Chen Zhu’s spoiled attitude.
He had also figured out what she was thinking earlier in the afternoon, so he was the first to mention breaking up. Xu Chengzhou had misunderstood Chen Zhu. She hadn’t come to discuss the divorce at all. However, since Chen Zhu was a strong-willed person, once Xu Chengzhou had expressed his feelings, she didn’t argue further. She simply stood up and left his room.
That night, Shen Xingruo went to meet Lu Xingyan at the address he had given her, and the two got together again. However, in the middle of their time together, someone suddenly knocked on the door, causing both of them to panic.
