Xu Chengzhou interrupted Lu Xingyan and Shen Xingruo’s pleasant evening when he showed up drunk, looking for Lu Xingyan. Fortunately, he didn’t notice that Shen Xingruo was in the room. As he looked around the cozy setup, he asked what was going on. Lu Xingyan lied, saying it was all prepared for Xu Chengzhou, thinking that Xu was in a bad mood and wanted to cheer him up.
Touched by this, Xu Chengzhou pulled Lu Xingyan in to drink with him, leaving Shen Xingruo awkwardly hiding in the closet. Finally, while Xu Chengzhou went to the bathroom, Shen Xingruo tried to leave but realized her T-shirt was missing. To her surprise, Xu Chengzhou came back holding her T-shirt. Upon seeing the two of them, Xu sobered up immediately and began to "interrogate" them about what was going on.
Xu Chengzhou was shocked that, even though they hadn’t gotten back together as a couple, they were acting like they were. The situation was chaotic for him. Lu Xingyan, however, made it clear that regardless of everything, his heart only belonged to Shen Xingruo, and he didn’t want anything to come between them. To ensure Xu Chengzhou’s silence, Lu Xingyan promised to buy him 30 epic game skins. Being an avid gamer, Xu Chengzhou couldn’t resist and was successfully "bribed.
"The next round of show filming began, and according to the rules, the last single guest would have to leave. Xu Chengzhou took the initiative to say goodbye to Lu Xingyan, knowing that since things with Chen Zhu were over, he would inevitably be the last single guest and have to leave. Xu Chengzhou received news from the show’s production team that Di Jiajing had chosen to have their date at Chen Zhu’s café.
Lu Xingyan thought this was fate giving Xu Chengzhou another chance. Xu Chengzhou prepared a champagne rose, intending to apologize to Chen Zhu and have a proper conversation. Now that they were divorcing, he finally got it right, but it was for another woman. Chen Zhu stormed out in anger, and Xu Chengzhou chased after her, trying to explain. But no matter what he said, Chen Zhu wouldn’t listen, and they agreed to meet at the civil affairs office in two days to finalize the divorce.
Xu Chengzhou stood there, feeling dejected as he watched Chen Zhu walk away, while Di Jiajing watched the whole scene unfold from behind the café window. Yu Si and Shi Qin went on a date to a pet store. Yu Si truly understood girls, knowing that Shi Qin was a kind-hearted person who often fed stray dogs. He had learned this from Shen Xingruo.
Thoughtfully, Yu Si encouraged Shi Qin to be herself and not feel insecure just because she wasn’t great at expressing herself. Some people are naturally better at listening, and the most important thing for her was to stay true to herself. As arranged by the production team, they needed to film a promotional poster for the show, which required them to wear school uniforms.
Chen Zhu didn’t want to run into Xu Chengzhou at home, so she decided to grab his uniform for him. While searching for the uniform, Shen Xingruo and Shi Qin found Chen Zhu’s old diary and asked to read it as a reward for helping her that evening. Chen Zhu agreed. Inside the diary, there was a note written by Xu Chengzhou, promising that every year on Chen Zhu’s birthday, he would buy her an ice cream cake.
Shen Xingruo commented that Xu Chengzhou truly loved Chen Zhu. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been so willing to compromise all the time, and she hoped Chen Zhu would seriously reconsider the divorce. During the poster shoot, Chen Zhu took the opportunity to sincerely apologize to Xu Chengzhou, admitting her faults. This time, they truly reconciled, and the two couldn’t help but kiss.
