Lu Xingyan and Shen Xingruo put on a show, arguing in front of all the staff from the production team. Lu Xingyan revealed evidence related to an online video analysis blogger, proving that someone from the team was colluding with external parties. Shen Xingruo defended her team member, refusing to let Lu Xingyan expose them publicly. She hoped that the person would come forward on their own. The video streaming platform required the program to be suspended for rectification.
As an investor, Lu Xingyan anticipated that recovering costs would be challenging. He called upon Lawyer Zhai to draft a compensation agreement quickly and communicate with Shen Xingruo. Lawyer Zhai pretended to advise Lu Xingyan, hoping he would give Shen Xingruo some time. However, Lu Xingyan was adamant; he couldn't risk losing the entire Sun Inn. He had begun to suspect Lawyer Zhai, believing she was acting with ulterior motives.
Lawyer Zhai approached Shen Xingruo, who had already discovered the mastermind behind the incident: He Ming, one of the team members collaborating with her. He Ming confessed to Shen Xingruo that he had instructed the blogger to edit the video. Shen Xingruo, having seen the chat records, already knew it was him and felt deeply disappointed. He Ming understood that Shen Xingruo hadn’t exposed him publicly because she wanted to leave some room for him.
Shen Xingruo had never intended to make this matter public. She had worked with He Ming for a long time and was aware of his ideals and ambitions. She had already spoken with Zhang Xu about the next variety show, which would be produced by He Ming. Shen Xingruo understood that He Ming likely had his reasons, so she didn’t press him for details. However, she needed to know who was behind his actions against the production team.
He Ming named Lawyer Zhai as the instigator. Lawyer Zhai had been sowing discord, promising He Ming other projects if he helped her. Shen Xingruo was pleased that He Ming had confided in her, but she requested a favor: for him to call Lawyer Zhai. He Ming followed Shen Xingruo’s script and contacted Lawyer Zhai. Shen Xingruo was now determined to force Lawyer Zhai to reveal her true self little by little. Shi Qin had also approached Li Qi privately.
She had previously traced the IP address of the video posted online, which revealed that Li Qi and Lawyer Zhai had entered the hotel together that night. As a lawyer, Shi Qin kindly warned Li Qi that once the truth was exposed, he would not only face substantial compensation but also a prison sentence of less than three years, which he could not afford to bear.

But when Shen Xingruo returned, she rekindled her relationship with Lu Xingyan.
Furthermore, He Siyue, who had always been by her side, was unexpectedly taken by Shi Qin. For Lawyer Zhai, both were significant: one was the person she loved, and the other was a good friend. She could not tolerate having what was important to her taken away, so she needed to reclaim everything. Lawyer Zhai had no idea that Lu Xingyan had overheard everything in the room and that Shen Xingruo was live-streaming the entire incident.
Zhang Xu and others were watching from the other side. Shen Xingruo had already called the police, and they would hold Lawyer Zhai accountable. In a fit of rage, Lawyer Zhai even attempted to stab Shen Xingruo with a knife. To protect Shen Xingruo, Lu Xingyan got his hand cut, and Shen Xingruo subdued Lawyer Zhai. Security rushed in and took her away. Afterwards, Shen Xingruo bandaged Lu Xingyan's wound, surprised to discover that she had secretly trained in martial arts.
