Chen Zhu and Xu Chengzhou accidentally saw a design sketch on the sofa, which was related to a proposal. After analyzing it, they suspected it might be Lu Xingyan's plan. Since they had just reconciled, they didn't want this matter to cause any conflicts again. So, Chen Zhu and Xu Chengzhou separately approached Shen Xingruo and Lu Xingyan to discuss it.
Lu Xingyan stated that he hadn't prepared anything at all, while Shen Xingruo revealed to Chen Zhu that it was her design and that she planned to propose to Lu Xingyan. Chen Zhu was taken aback; she never expected someone who feared marriage would actively propose. Shen Xingruo didn't suddenly come to this realization; she had reflected on everything that had happened recently. Especially after the car accident, she felt scared.
Looking at Lu Xingyan and reminiscing about their sweet moments together, she realized just how much she loved him. This time, she didn't want to miss out on Lu Xingyan again. He had already proposed before, and now it was her turn to pursue happiness. After some analysis, Lu Xingyan and Xu Chengzhou concluded that He Siyue was preparing to propose to Shi Qin. They decided to keep it a secret for their good friend, but Lu Xingyan was troubled.
Once Chen Zhu and Shen Xingruo mentioned it, he worried Shen Xingruo would misunderstand him. So he planned to clarify things with her during dinner that evening. However, when he heard a proposal at the adjacent table, he was startled, fearing that Shen Xingruo might think he was proposing again. Shen Xingruo, noticing Lu Xingyan's nervousness, felt both amused and helpless. While she found the proposal next door to be very sweet, Lu Xingyan hesitated to respond directly.
He felt each stage in a relationship had its own kind of happiness and was afraid his answer might upset Shen Xingruo. Later that night, back at the resort, Lu Xingyan voluntarily handed over a ring, stating that he wasn't proposing again and hoping that Shen Xingruo could rest assured. Chen Zhu was pregnant, which made Xu Chengzhou very happy, but Chen Zhu felt anxious.
She worried that they hadn't properly prepared for pregnancy and was unsure how to be a good mother. Therefore, she needed to consider whether to keep the baby. Shen Xingruo and Shi Qin stayed by her side, encouraging her to relax. Then, Xu Chengzhou went missing. Lu Xingyan and He Siyue rushed back upon receiving the news, trying to find him.
Chen Zhu decided to record the next episode on her own at the hospital, believing Xu Chengzhou's disappearance was an answer; perhaps their relationship had come to an end. In reality, Xu Chengzhou's disappearance was due to attending a parenting experience class. The first lesson was to experience the pain of childbirth, which is why he couldn't answer his phone.
Once he returned to the resort and learned that Chen Zhu had gone to the hospital, he hurried over to find her. It turned out that Chen Zhu hadn't gone for an abortion; she was there for a prenatal checkup. Xu Chengzhou explained why he had been missing, and Chen Zhu was pleasantly surprised that he was genuinely trying to be a good father. Shen Xingruo appeared before Lu Xingyan in a wedding dress and proposed to him on the show.
Lu Xingyan was so excited he couldn't speak; he never imagined he would reach this day. Shen Xingruo presented two rings, which were the ones they had grown up with. They put the rings on each other, and everyone from the production team celebrated with them. With the recording of the show completed, the lovers became a couple. He Siyue and Shi Qin decided not to hold a ceremony, as they were both easily nervous.
However, Shen Xingruo believed that having a wedding was Lu Xingyan's wish, and she wanted to help him fulfill that dream, even though Lu Xingyan himself was not as obsessed with the idea of a wedding anymore. The three couples decided to relax together and set off on a road trip.
