Resolute, Li Yuchun submitted his resignation, willing to sacrifice himself for this cause. He placed his uniform down and left decisively. Wei Yuan remained silent, standing upstairs and watching Li Yuchun’s actions with a sense of deep satisfaction.

Seeing how much his sister, cousin, and aunt had worried for him deeply moved him. However, no one knew where his uncle had gone. They only recalled that before leaving, Xu Pingzhi had said he was going out to buy roasted chicken.
