Ge Qing is a college teacher who researches in biology. When he saw Liuzheng, he felt a flutter in his heart. He spoke calmly and behaved like a gentleman, chatting with Liuzheng harmoniously throughout dinner. Even after they left the restaurant, they continued to chat. Meanwhile, Ning Zhiqian brought Ning Xiang to the mall and coincidentally met Ge Qing and Liuzheng.

Ning Xiang's eyes lit up at the sight of Liuzheng, and he almost rushed forward to her. Ning Zhiqian quickly held him back and reminded him to call Liuzheng "auntie". Reluctantly, Ning Xiang followed and called her auntie when he saw her. Liuzheng felt a little strange, but she didn't say anything and took Ning Xiang to play nearby.

Ge Qing talked non-stop in front of Ning Zhiqian, not treating him like a stranger at all. Ning Zhiqian was dismissive and wanted to leave quickly. Ge Qing asked about Liuzheng's performance at the hospital and even affectionately called her "Xiao Zheng". He even praised her in front of Ning Zhiqian. This annoyed Ning Zhiqian, who glared at Ge Qing. To his surprise, Ge Qing dropped a bombshell and revealed that Liuzheng was his girlfriend.

Just as Ning Zhiqian felt jealous, Ge Qing said they should invite Mrs. Ning to dinner next time. Ning Zhiqian's chest felt tight and he didn't want to stay any longer. He took Ning Xiang's hand and left in a hurry. Before leaving, he deliberately emphasized the words "teacher's wife" in front of Liuzheng. After they returned home, Ning Xiang became angrier and urged Ning Zhiqian to quickly go after his mother, or else she would be stolen away by other men.

When Ge Qing found out that Liuzheng had been divorced, he didn't know how to face her for a while. After three days of careful consideration, he figured out how to handle the situation. He went to the hospital to find Liuzheng and offered two suggestions. If Liuzheng could do them, he wouldn't mind her past. Although she was unhappy, Liuzheng politely listened to Ge Qing. When Ge Qing finally finished, Liuzheng quickly declined his kindness. However, Ge Qing really liked Liuzheng and tried to explain himself. When Ning Zhiqian left, he saw Liuzheng and Ge Qing struggling and rushed to help her.

Du Xiaoyu's parents, just like her, had brain tumors. Both of her teachers had passed away, leaving her alone to face this pain. But despite all this, she didn't complain about her situation. She loved her dance major and every plant around her, making her hospital room warm and beautiful. The patient next to her was touched by her spirit, but unfortunately, the hospital didn't allow it. So, she decided to ask Ning Zhiqian to take care of her succulent, but he refused coldly. Liuzheng, feeling sorry for her, agreed to take care of it instead.

Cai Mama's son was late in paying his medical fees, leaving Liuzheng with no choice but to consult Xue Weilin. The Xue family and the Ruan family were close friends, but Liuzheng had little interaction with Xue Weilin. After a brief exchange of greetings, Liuzheng expressed her plea to Xue Weilin, hoping to get compensation for her mental distress from Cai Mama's son, Zhang Lei. For some reason, Xue Weilin was interested in this case and willingly accepted it, even offering to waive the fees.

Before surgery, Liuzheng talked with Du Xiaoyu to ease her nervousness and fear. Du Xiaoyu talked about a lot of things and even expressed her desire to see Ning Zhiqian's smile. Liuzheng then found Ning Zhiqian and conveyed Xiaoyu's expectations, but was met with his rejection.

When Liuzheng returned home, she saw Xue Weilin playing chess with her father. Though she was a bit puzzled, she still showed her hospitality. Liuzheng walked Xue Weilin downstairs and coincidentally ran into Xue Lang. Xue Lang only recognized Ning Zhiqian as his brother-in-law, so when he saw Xue Weilin, he couldn't help but show his displeasure.
