Ning Zhiqian helped Liuzheng revise her report in the room, but accidentally got too close to her. Liuzheng felt awkward and got up to close the door. Xue Weilin outside noticed and felt uneasy, and was distracted while playing chess with Ruan's father. Ruan Lang and Ruan's mother couldn't help but gossip in the kitchen when they saw the situation. Ruan's father likes Xue Weilin because they can play chess together. Ruan's mother prefers Ning Zhiqian, but if Liuzheng likes Xue Weilin, she wouldn't object. Ruan Lang has been trying to matchmake Liuzheng and Ning Zhiqian and knows that his sister still has feelings for Ning Zhiqian, so he quickly roped in their mother.

Time passed slowly, and Liuzheng lay on the bed bored and soon fell asleep. By the time Ning Zhiqian finished revising the report, it was already late at night. He quietly walked to the bedside and covered Liuzheng with the blanket. The room was peaceful, but outside there was turmoil. Xue Weilin saw that there was no movement in the room and decided to leave, but not before asking about the situation inside. However, Ruan Lang bluntly said that his sister and brother-in-law might not be able to come out until tomorrow morning. Everyone was surprised by this news, and Xue Weilin found it boring, so he followed Ning Zhiqian out.

As soon as they got off the plane, Ning Zhiqian took Liuzheng to the mall to buy clothes and even pushed her into the styling room to make her look very "professional." It turned out to be a success, as Liuzheng's report was very professional and impressive, winning rounds of applause from the audience.

The report went smoothly, and Liuzheng and Ning Zhiqian took a leave of absence to go out and party with friends. However, before leaving, she saw Ning Zhiqian chatting with a girl, and they seemed very familiar. When she returned to the hotel, she saw the same girl and even found a cup with lipstick marks on it coming out of Ning Zhiqian's room. Liuzheng was confused and went to Ning Zhiqian's room, where she found him curled up in pain from stomachache. She massaged his stomach until he felt better, and then left reluctantly.

The next day, at the airport, Liuzheng saw that girl again. She greeted Ning Zhiqian warmly with a hug, but Liuzheng rolled her eyes and quickly pushed her luggage to board the plane. Back at the hospital, Tan Ya quietly pulled her aside and told her about the past few days. Juanzi had been secretly sending some clothes, claiming they were for Ning Xiang, and always asking for information about him.

At the restaurant, Tan Ya and Ruan Lang unexpectedly ran into Jiang Cheng, who was accompanied by a charming lady. Jiang Cheng became nervous upon seeing Tan Ya and slowly leaned over to instruct the woman next to him to leave first. He also discreetly put his wedding ring back on his ring finger. He explained to Tan Ya that the lady was just his client when she wanted to inquire further. Jiang Cheng turned the tables on Ruan Lang, accusing him of having dinner with his wife late at night. Ruan Lang got angry and even got physical with Jiang Cheng.

After a thorough examination, Wu Youwei was indeed diagnosed with a pituitary tumor, which made him happy for a while. However, when he saw that the surgical consent form stated that he might permanently lose his sexual function after the operation, he became anxious.
