Ning Zhiqian held a bouquet of flowers in front of Liuzheng and slowly opened the box in his hand, revealing the shining diamond ring. Colorful balloons surged up at this moment, surrounding the couple like romantic bubbles. Everyone took out their phones to capture this beautiful moment. Ning Zhiqian handed the flowers to Liuzheng, then knelt down and proposed. Liuzheng smiled and took out the ring from the box. Ning Zhiqian was thrilled and kissed Liuzheng.

After having fun, Liuzheng and Ning Zhiqian went home together. Liuzheng's cheeks were flushed from alcohol, and she felt like she was walking on clouds, light and carefree. She held Ning Zhiqian's face and shared many things she had kept hidden in her heart. On the day of their divorce, Liuzheng had hoped that Ning Zhiqian would come and hold her, but he did nothing. Ning Zhiqian admitted that he wanted to hug her that day, but he was too afraid to do it, afraid that she would reject him. Ning Zhiqian underestimated Liuzheng's love for him. Liuzheng didn't want to argue with Ning Zhiqian, so she moved on. She continued to take care of him, prepared meals for him, discussed when to take wedding photos, and buy new rings. But Ning Zhiqian found all of this too troublesome and suggested using their old things instead. Liuzheng was upset and left without eating.

The next day, Ning Zhiqian noticed that Liuzheng was not in a good mood and decided to compromise. He proposed taking wedding photos and holding a banquet, but Liuzheng was the one doing all the planning. Ning Zhiqian just went along with her decisions. At first, Liuzheng didn't mind, but when she accidentally saw the proposal package on Ning Zhiqian's computer, she finally exploded with anger. She realized why Ning Zhiqian had been so angry the other day. The colleagues were not part of Ning Zhiqian's plan; it was all Tan Ya's idea.

Liuzheng didn't believe that Ning Zhiqian was sincere about proposing to her. She thought he only wanted to marry her so they could raise children together. Liuzheng had thought she could change Ning Zhiqian, but now she realized she was wrong. Ning Zhiqian tried to explain, but Liuzheng was too angry to listen. The next morning, he went to the civil affairs bureau as planned, but Liuzheng was nowhere to be found.

When Liuzheng woke up, it was already 5 pm. She was about to go out to find Ning Zhiqian when she met him face to face. Before Liuzheng could explain, Ning Zhiqian sternly questioned her. Liuzheng felt hopeless and decided to let go and move on.

Ning's father found out that Liuzheng had been lying in bed with a fever all day, so he went to find Ning Zhiqian. Ning Zhiqian sat up lazily from the couch and asked Ning's father why he had married his mother in the first place. Ning's father's eyes darkened, and he hung his head. He didn't know if he loved Ning's mother or not, but he was determined to marry her when he saw her.
