When the COVID-19 outbreak occurred, hospitals faced a major challenge and had to hold an emergency meeting to prepare for the pandemic. After finishing his work, Cheng Zhouyu returned home and told Ning Zhiqian that he wanted to be transferred to the respiratory department to help with the outbreak. The hospital was busy and tense, and while everyone was discussing the patients' conditions in the office, news arrived that Li Aiyin's condition had worsened. Due to the rapid growth of the tumor in her brain, which was pressing on her nerves and causing premature labor, Ning Zhiqian decided to perform a risky joint surgery with the neurology and obstetrics departments. Although the surgery was challenging, with everyone's effort, it was successful, and the mother and baby were safe.

When Cheng Zhouyu and Ding Yiyuan saw the news in the office, Cheng Zhouyu was excited to celebrate with Ding Yiyuan, but he remembered they were in a cold war and left. However, Ding Yiyuan was very pleased with Cheng Zhouyu's reaction.

It was Ruan Liuzheng's birthday, and Ning Zhiqian secretly prepared a romantic scene for her in the office, which made Ruan Liuzheng very happy. Ning Xiang fell down and discovered that her brain tumor had recurred.
