Liuzheng and Ruang Lang learned from Ning Zhiqian that Liuzheng's father had given up on treatment for his illness. Liuzheng went to visit his father in the hospital and tried to convince him to continue treatment, but his father refused. He wanted to spend his remaining time with his family. Liuzheng's father eventually returned home and waited for death, which made Liuzheng very sad.

Meanwhile, Ning Xiang was about to have surgery. Her father, Ning Zhiqian, hired a pediatric expert to perform the procedure. The surgery was successful, but Liuzheng's father passed away during this time.

Ding Yiyuan and Cheng Zhouyu returned to the neurology department, and everyone joked about whether they had reconciled. During a race, cyclist Nie Xing was hit by falling rocks and became unconscious due to a brain injury caused by a landslide. As the neurology department at Beiyar Hospital is a national authority, they planned to send him there.
