Seeing his packed schedule, Li Aolin complained to Ms. Wang Min. She believed he was filling his time to be with Xiao Ying romantically. A heated argument between mother and son ensued over Xiao Ying. Li Aolin increasingly desired to break free from Wang Min's control and be with Xiao Ying.

After much contemplation, Li Aolin decided to propose to Xiao Ying. However, what Li Aolin didn't know was that Xiao Ying, who was also his divorce lawyer, always kept marriage and love separate in her life. She had no plans for marriage. Consequently, she turned down Li Aolin's proposal.
