Chen Duo chose to return to her original world, and Lao Meng could not accept this. It was he who had brought Chen Duo out of the Yao Xian Society in the past. Xiao Zizai advised Lao Meng to respect Chen Duo's free choice and even suggested that Chen Duo could choose to end her life in any way and with anyone.

Lao Meng hurried over to her side and asked if she wanted to continue. Chen Duo replied that she would soon be able to rest forever, but still chose to struggle on. Lao Meng quickly grabbed her already decayed hand.

Someone nearby took a photo of Chen Duo, but the phone immediately died. The electronic screens on the streets also lost signal. Xiao Zizai informed them that Xu Er Zhuang had also arrived and would walk with Chen Duo for her final journey. Chen Junyan named himself and tried to make himself laugh.
