After the discussion, Tang Xin politely met her blind date, Lin Zhengxu. He gave her a bouquet of flowers, and they agreed to have a meal together another day. Once back home, Tang Yu approached her, feeling jealous after seeing the flowers. He pleaded with her not to go on the blind date and declared his pursuit of her. Tang Xin asserted her right to choose, and Tang Yu asked if letting her go on a blind date would settle things. Tang Xin thought he was a blockhead and jokingly said that if that settled things, she would go on at least 108 blind dates. Tang Xin's parents returned home, and she hurriedly pushed Tang Yu away to avoid more trouble.

Lu Zhixing suggested adding more standout supporting characters to the film, encouraging everyone to contribute friends' characteristics and preferences to the plot.
