Lu Zhixing coached Tang Dingding on acting, asking her to say "I love you" as if she were speaking to a lover. Tang Dingding, who had never been in a relationship, struggled to get into the mood. After a while without success, Lu Zhixing changed the strategy, asking her to say "I like you." Tang Dingding finally felt something and sincerely expressed her liking for Lu Zhixing. Lu Zhixing thought her expression was excellent, deeming her a qualified actress. Tang Dingding was relieved not to worry about being expelled from the cast anymore. Though reluctant, Tang Xin went to the airport to pick up Tang Yu. On the way back, she complained about Tang Yu insisting on her picking him up despite Gao Heng being at the airport. Tang Yu explained that Gao Heng was there to pick up Huo Chendong, and she was there for him. Tang Yu didn't even enter his own home, heading straight to Tang Xin's place. Sensing Tang Xin's irritation, he tried to console her after realizing she was upset due to the photos sent by Huo Chendong. However, Tang Xin remained unmoved.
Tang Yu wanted to explain things to Tang Xin, but she was in a hurry to get him out. Tang Yu noticed Tang Xin's phone on the couch and handed it to her. He caught a glimpse of the username on her Weibo alternate account. Later, Tang Yu checked and entered Tang Xin's Weibo alternate account to read about every experience and emotional journey since the first time she saw him. The overflowing affection expressed in the words deeply moved Tang Yu.
In the middle of the night, Tang Xin found it strange that Tang Yu hadn't left yet. Tang Yu asked about the first time they met, and Tang Xin mentioned helping him pursue Ming Zhu during their time at the studio. Tang Xin sent invitations to several close friends, specially sending one to Tang Yu with high expectations. On her birthday, friends brought gifts, and everyone enjoyed the party with laughter. However, Tang Yu was nowhere to be seen, and though Tang Xin seemed calm on the surface, she was anxious, constantly checking her phone, waiting for Tang Yu to arrive. Finally, unable to sit still, Tang Xin went out to take out the trash and received a birthday red envelope from Tang Yu. However, what Tang Xin eagerly anticipated was Tang Yu's physical presence.
The elevator doors opened, and Tang Yu and Huo Chendong rushed back from the film festival, but they only had an hour. In the car, Tang Yu prepared a cake and candles.
