Tang Yu's mother came to visit and chatted happily with Tang Xin. She showed Tang Xin embarrassing photos of Tang Yu wetting the bed as a child, leaving Tang Yu feeling embarrassed. He realized that Lu Zhixing had set him up. Tang Yu pulled his mother aside to ask what she had told Tang Xin. His mother, with no choice, revealed that she did it to improve their relationship and even gave advice on how Tang Yu should pursue Tang Xin. Unbeknownst to them, their conversation was broadcasted through the walkie-talkie to the crew members. Tang Xin, present during the conversation, felt awkward, but the crew congratulated her on her relationship with Tang Yu.
Tang Yu, noticing the walkie-talkie in his mother's hand, realized Lu Zhixing had played a trick on him. Since he didn't mind openly acknowledging his relationship with Tang Xin, he took it in stride. However, he didn't want his parents to stay longer, concerned it might affect the filming, so he persuaded them to leave, promising to report any updates promptly.
Tang Yu and Tang Xin accompanied Tang's parents to see them off. Tang Yu also planned to return home. Thinking Tang Yu was still upset about the photos, Tang Xin rushed over to console him. In turn, Tang Yu comforted Tang Xin, fearing that his mother's excessive enthusiasm might affect her. Tang Xin found Tang's mother adorable and had no issues adapting. Tang Yu reminded Tang Xin to take care of Tang Dingding. As Lu Chuning was about to join the crew, Tang Xin assured Tang Yu that she would help Tang Dingding overcome any difficulties.
Lu Chuning joined the crew for a scene where she played opposite Tang Dingding. Nervous, Tang Dingding, being a newcomer without professional training, found herself overwhelmed. The weather was unfavorable, and the assistant reminded Lu Zhixing of the limited shooting time. Despite that being sufficient for Lu Chuning, Tang Dingding struggled to get into character. Lu Zhixing had no choice but to pause the shoot.
Tang Xin comforted Tang Dingding, understanding the psychological issues she was facing. Lu Chuning noticed that Tang Dingding was waiting for her, intending for her to assist with the scene. Lu Chuning readily agreed, understanding that acting was just a hobby for Tang Dingding. With Lu Chuning's patient guidance, Tang Dingding gradually overcame her psychological barriers, and the next day's shooting went much smoother. Lu Zhixing praised Tang Xin for her support.
Tang Xin mentioned to Tang Dingding that Xia Jiaming bribed Lu Zhixing with lollipops. Even if she didn't pass, Lu Zhixing wouldn't scold her too harshly. Tang Dingding marveled at how Xia Jiaming, at such a young age, had learned to use social methods. She decided to emulate Xia Jiaming and bought local specialty nougat for Lu Zhixing. Initially puzzled, Lu Zhixing understood after a male actor's hint. That night, Tang Dingding practiced tirelessly. Due to poor soundproofing in the hotel, she disturbed Lu Zhixing's sleep. Tang Yu had to come over and inform her that she had passed, but Tang Dingding refused to rest. Lu Zhixing had to use a recording to convince her to stop.
The next day, the crew used Wiya to shoot a high-altitude scene. Since Tang Dingding hadn't practiced before, she felt uncomfortable. After barely passing the shoot, they encountered a rope break. Tang Dingding, suspended in the air, clung to the railing, but she couldn't hold on for too long. Terrified, she cried, and Lu Zhixing rushed to save her. In the process, Lu Zhixing injured his hand but managed to rescue Tang Dingding, who broke down in tears in his arms.
Tang Dingding ordered takeaway to find Lu Zhixing. She had overcome the shadow left by the danger and talked with Lu Zhixing about many things. She expressed confidence in becoming a shining and hardworking actress. Their relationship also changed, including how they addressed each other. Shortly after, an explosion scene went wrong, injuring over twenty people in the crew. Tang Yu rushed there, relieved to see Tang Xin unharmed.
