While Gong Waner is in conversation with Zhao Yan, Old Mrs. Rong hurries to see Gong Waner upon hearing the servant's report. Gong Waner repeatedly refuses to open the door, but Old Mrs. Rong deduces that someone must be hiding inside her room based on the servant's information. Due to family reputation, Old Mrs. Rong warns Gong Waner without taking further action. After hearing Gong Waner's words, Zhao Yan returns home to wait for her. Green Bamboo hastily prepares luggage for Gong Waner, hoping she will leave. Although Gong Waner wants to leave, she doesn't want others to lose their lives because of her.
Old Mrs. Rong watches Gong Waner leave and instructs her subordinates to kill her. Unable to resist her emotions, Gong Waner cries when she sees Zhao Yan. The two lovers are finally together.
