Soon, summer vacation arrived, and Shi Xiaochun went to Yunnan. Ling Chen suddenly remembered that Shi Xiaochun had mentioned that her hometown was very interesting. He decided to visit her during the summer break and went to their teacher's office to find Shi Xiaochun's home address. Since Yu Lihua was currently abroad on a business trip, Ling Chen saw an opportunity for a trip. He arrived at Shi Xiaochun's home and caught her by surprise. Shi Xiaochun quickly found suitable clothing and came out to meet Ling Chen. Both of them were a bit shy at first. Shi Xiaochun's parents were very welcoming, even serving Ling Chen a lot of fruits. To avoid their parents' constant questions, they quickly left the house.
Ling Chen's excuse for visiting Yunnan this time was for research purposes. In the evening, Shi Xiaochun's parents warmly hosted Ling Chen. During the visit, Ling Chen drank quite a bit, and Shi Xiaochun was worried about him. She helped him avoid drinking more alcohol. To divert their relatives and friends from constantly offering Ling Chen drinks, Su Shiyu suggested teaching Ling Chen to dance. The atmosphere at home was very pleasant, and Ling Chen was genuinely happy here. However, Shi Xiaochun's father accidentally injured his waist.
Xiao Bu was concerned that Yu Manman would be bored in the hospital, so he disguised himself as a nurse and came to the hospital. Yu Manman's mother happened to be there as well, and Yu Manman used an excuse to get her mother to leave, allowing Xiao Bu to take her outside for some fresh air. Later, Xiao Bu brought Yu Manman to a wall where he had personally painted a scene of Yu Manman dancing. Xiao Bu just wanted Yu Manman to be happy and not feel constrained by dance practice. He knew that she couldn't be practicing all the time. Despite having a foot injury, Yu Manman danced with Xiao Bu and found immense joy in it.
Shi Xiaochun and Ling Chen went for a walk together in the evening, and their relationship continued to grow stronger. The following day, Yu Manman sent a message to Xiao Bu, thanking him for accompanying her. She mentioned that her mood had improved significantly because of him. Shi Xiaochun's father and Ling Chen had a conversation where Ling Chen promised to treat Shi Xiaochun well.
Shi Xiaochun and Ling Chen went to play by the stream, and Shi Xiaochun confessed her feelings to Ling Chen. Surprisingly, Ling Chen kissed her, and they shared a passionate kiss by the stream. It was safe to say that they both had a very happy summer vacation.
As the new school year began, Hong Jiaoyang suddenly noticed a change in the relationship between Shi Xiaochun and Ling Chen. Ling Chen openly admitted that he and Shi Xiaochun were in a romantic relationship, which made Hong Jiaoyang very happy for Shi Xiaochun.
Yu Lihua and Teacher Lin had differences of opinion due to the second-year curriculum. Yu Lihua believed in rigorous training for the students, while Teacher Lin thought that children should grow up happily. Eventually, the school principal accepted Teacher Lin's viewpoint. Yu Lihua was angry and left. During class, Yu Lihua maintained strict requirements for the students. He also arranged for Ling Chen to participate in a competition, but Ling Chen refused because he felt that dancing was not just for competing but for gaining something more. His mother, however, told him that his dancing was not just for himself but also for the school. Nevertheless, Ling Chen left in anger.
