Yu Lihua found Yu Manman's mother, whom she was already familiar with, and inquired about Yu Manman's foot injury. However, Yu Manman's mother claimed that Yu Manman had fully recovered and could participate in the competition with full strength. Yu Lihua was still concerned about Yu Manman's condition, but Yu Manman's mother insisted that Yu Manman should participate in the competition, as if she wanted to fulfill something she couldn't achieve herself.
In the evening, Xiao Bu went to find Yu Manman, who was rehearsing. He intentionally suggested that she should take a break and teach some kids to dance. However, Yu Manman stated that her top priority was to participate in the competition, and she wanted to cherish this opportunity. She asked Xiao Bu not to interfere, which left Xiao Bu feeling disheartened. He assured her that he wouldn't get in her way.
After Ling Chen and Shi Xiaochun's Tai Chi training, Ling Chen got so engrossed that he nearly stumbled. Yu Lihua, who was watching from the door, was worried about his son. Later, she asked Teacher Lin about it. Teacher Lin could tell that Yu Lihua cared a lot about Ling Chen, so he showed her a video of Ling Chen dancing. During this time, Ling Chen's situation had been a bit out of control, and Teacher Lin wanted Shi Xiaochun to help him.
Since Ling Chen had mentioned wanting to watch a performance, Shi Xiaochun was naturally excited, not knowing that Ling Chen had specifically planned to go for her. She then helped the child and brought her to the dance studio, where she coincidentally met Xiao Bu. Xiao Bu invited Yu Manman to dinner, and she indulged in many sweets. Xiao Bu actively invited Yu Manman to work as his assistant, and although Yu Manman said she would think about it when she had time, she was actually willing to do it. Unbeknownst to her, Yu Manman had started to develop feelings for Xiao Bu but hadn't admitted it yet.
Encouraged by Shi Xiaochun, Ling Chen returned home to reconcile with his mother. However, when he arrived home, he found his mother asleep with notes about what was lacking in his dance on her notebook. Ling Chen realized that his mother was still concerned about him. He covered his mother with a blanket and decided to leave. In fact, Yu Lihua hadn't fallen asleep either. When Ling Chen was about to leave, Yu Lihua handed him the notes she had taken, and Ling Chen said that he had found the real feeling. Yu Lihua agreed that since Ling Chen had chosen this path, he should continue to persevere. The rift between them seemed to be healing.
Ling Chen went to practice with the Tai Chi master, hoping to find the missing feeling. Suddenly, he seemed to have found inspiration. When he officially danced in class, he found the feeling he was looking for, and Yu Lihua, watching from the doorway, was very positive about it. Ling Chen was thrilled to finally receive praise from his teacher.
During lunch, Shi Xiaochun and Ling Chen talked about their love fund. They felt that their ideal was getting closer, and they hoped they could save enough money to watch the performance.
