After everyone finished dinner, Shi Xiaochun suggested playing Truth or Dare. The first person was Teacher Lin, who chose "Truth." They asked if he was dressed in formal attire today for a blind date, but Teacher Lin revealed that he was actually commemorating his deceased loved one. Shi Xiaochun wanted to hear Teacher Lin's love story, but he explained that love and marriage were two different matters. He shared his love story, recounting how he had planned to propose to the girl he loved before graduating from college. However, due to certain circumstances, he sacrificed his love for responsibility. His actions, which he believed were righteous, ended up hurting two girls. This was Teacher Lin's biggest regret.
After the meal, they took photos together. Ling Chen noticed that Shi Xiaochun wasn't selecting anyone for Truth or Dare and inquired. Shi Xiaochun mentioned Teacher Lin's two former lovers and how they must have felt back then. She used to think the world was full of sunshine, but after hearing Teacher Lin's story, she realized how insignificant she was. Ling Chen comforted Shi Xiaochun, acknowledging that Teacher Lin used to be a very sunny person.
Upon returning from their outing, Shi Xiaochun and Ling Chen approached Teacher Lin and explained that they had choreographed a dance based on his story, hoping to perform it at the year-end recital. Shi Xiaochun quickly began the performance, moving Teacher Lin deeply. She felt that Teacher Lin had been through a lot, and in another world, his wife would be very happy. Teacher Lin offered some advice and suggestions, encouraging them to practice diligently.
Yu Manman's foot pain persisted, and she hoped the doctor would prescribe more medication, but the doctor refused, citing the addictive nature of painkillers.
Soon, it was time for Xiao Bu's competition. Everyone watched the live broadcast, hoping to support him. Xiao Bu revealed that he had written his song for someone special, and his thoughts were on Yu Manman. While Yu Manman appeared cold on the surface, she had a warm heart. In the end, Xiao Bu advanced and publicly expressed his feelings. Yu Manman felt happy, as she had gradually developed feelings for him too.
Yu Manman was running out of painkillers and didn't know what to do next. The headmaster asked Teacher Lin to arrange a presentation, but due to Yu Manman's foot injury, only Ling Chen, Shi Xiaochun, and Pan Pan could participate. The headmaster thought this arrangement was acceptable. Yu Manman called Ling Chen, hoping he could get some painkillers for her. He guessed that her foot was still hurting, but he agreed to help her secretly.
During the presentation, students had their own questions. Shi Xiaochun told them that while dance could be tough and might not be the best choice, it allowed them to express their love. Life's path depended on their choices. The headmaster was very upset because even though the presentation encouraged students to pursue their dreams, enrollment rates had significantly decreased. The headmaster informed Teacher Lin, who felt that the students had done nothing wrong.
Later, Teacher Lin tried to book a studio but found out that other departments had already reserved them. They ended up with an older theater for their performance. Teacher Lin showed it to the students, emphasizing that they could invite many dance enthusiasts to watch. Although they would face many challenges, their mission was to perform the dance well.
In the evening, Ling Chen received a message from Yu Manman asking if the painkillers were ready. To keep it a secret, he quietly replied to her message.
