Shi Xiaochun is very worried that she won't be able to outperform others in her upcoming performance. She is also concerned that she doesn't stand a chance in the finals. Ling Chen is by her side, constantly comforting Shi Xiaochun. He even suggests that she should prepare an acceptance speech in advance so that she won't be so angry. Shi Xiaochun expresses her gratitude to Ling Chen, acknowledging that she has become the best version of herself because of him. When Ling Chen asks if she would support him even if he leaves to become better, Shi Xiaochun assures him that she would stand by his decision.
Ling Chen plans to go to San Francisco but asks his mother not to tell Shi Xiaochun as she is currently preparing for a competition, and he doesn't want her to be distracted. However, Yu Lihua believes that Shi Xiaochun has the right to know about it. Xiao Bu takes Yu Manman to his film set to relieve her boredom in the hospital. However, the female model they were expecting doesn't show up, and this delays Xiao Bu's schedule. Yu Manman volunteers to help, and surprisingly, the collaboration turns out to be excellent. The director is satisfied and praises Yu Manman's talent, suggesting that she could pursue a career in acting. This angers Yu Manman, and she leaves despite Xiao Bu's attempts to explain.
Shi Xiaochun has been struggling with her rehearsals lately and expresses her dissatisfaction to her teacher Lin Shian. She tells him that she cannot practice well in her current state and hopes he can make some changes. After class, she sees Ling Chen, who was checking the enrollment list of the San Francisco Dance Academy. Ling Chen hides the list, and Yu Manman, after returning home, faces criticism from her mother. She explains that everything she does is to make her mother happy, but her mother feels guilty for giving up her job in the dance troupe because of Yu Manman.
Ling Chen informs Lin Shian that he plans to help Shi Xiaochun during the finals by dancing together. Lin Shian is pleased and decides to involve Yu Lihua in the training as well. Before they start dancing, Yu Lihua tells Shi Xiaochun about Ling Chen's plan to go abroad. This revelation surprises Shi Xiaochun, and a conflict arises between her and Ling Chen. Yu Manman, spending her days in the hospital, overhears her parents arguing because of her inability to dance. She feels neglected, and even when she wants water, there's no one to help her. Feeling sad, she sheds tears.
The rehearsals for Shi Xiaochun and Ling Chen's performance begin, but Ling Chen is not in good shape. They disagree on the ending of their dance, and there is a growing rift between them. The teacher advises them to resolve their issues before continuing. After Lin Shian and Yu Lihua leave, Ling Chen asks Shi Xiaochun if achieving a satisfactory ending is so difficult. Shi Xiaochun, unsure how to respond, leaves. After she leaves, Ling Chen receives an acceptance letter from the San Francisco Dance Academy. However, he hopes to make the right decision, considering his background in classical ballet.
Shi Xiaochun vents her emotions to Hong Jiaoyang, expressing her conflict between supporting Ling Chen and feeling lost if he leaves. Ling Chen overhears her and expresses his willingness to stay for her. Despite this, Shi Xiaochun still hopes Ling Chen can make the right choice.
