Shi Xiaochun walks in the park following the directions Ling Chen gave. Along the way, she encounters Pan Pan, who hands over a mask to Shi Xiaochun and expresses gratitude for teaching her to remove her own mask. Pan Pan reveals her past insecurities, and Shi Xiaochun encourages her and wishes her luck in the finals. At that moment, Hong Jiaoyang is also nearby, waiting for her. Hong Jiaoyang reminisces about the time they were punished by their teacher for trying to lose weight, something deeply etched in Shi Xiaochun's memory. Hong Jiaoyang encourages Shi Xiaochun, hoping she will give her best in the competition.
The next encounter is with Yu Manman and Xiao Bu. Xiao Bu mentions that Shi Xiaochun encouraged him when he participated in a singing competition. He urges Shi Xiaochun not to forget the enthusiasm she had back then. Shi Xiaochun continues walking until she reaches a scenic signpost, unsure of the direction. Ling Chen has been waiting at the endpoint for a long time, unaware that Shi Xiaochun has walked in the wrong direction, getting farther away.
Ling Chen searches for Shi Xiaochun but fails to find her. He urges everyone to help look for her, showing great concern. Eventually, Ling Chen finds Shi Xiaochun. She is delighted to see him and mentions her sore feet. Ling Chen carries her back. Subsequently, they arrive at the destination. Everything is prepared, and a video of Shi Xiaochun's childhood starts playing. In her early years, Shi Xiaochun dreamed of joining the Hai Dance, practicing relentlessly despite numerous challenges. The events of these years are vivid in her memory. Initially, Shi Xiaochun was optimistic. Touched by the video prepared by everyone, Ling Chen understands that Shi Xiaochun is too eager to win, causing her to make mistakes. Shi Xiaochun recognizes her issues and has forgotten the initial purpose of dancing for the competition. Ling Chen reassures her, asking her not to be afraid, as everyone is with her on this journey, and she can do better.
Soon, it's time for the official rehearsal. Shi Xiaochun gradually finds her direction, but the students from the San Francisco Dance Academy are formidable. Ling Chen tells Shi Xiaochun that others seem so at ease on stage because they have a "dance soul." He helps Shi Xiaochun discover what her own dance soul is. After the rehearsal, Shi Xiaochun sees her father. He has come to support her, taking her to her former teacher and the stage where she used to perform, hoping she can rediscover herself.
At home, Ling Chen unintentionally sees pictures in his mother's box, realizing that the girl in Lin Shian's story is his own mother. Yu Lihua shares her past and tells her son that he has grown up, and the decisions for his life are now his own. The formal competition approaches, and Yu Lihua and Lin Shian come backstage to cheer and encourage them. Shi Xiaochun's parents watch the live broadcast at home. Shi Xiaochun and Ling Chen perform the Butterfly Lovers on stage, resembling butterflies dancing gracefully. The judges acknowledge their performance. Although Shi Xiaochun didn't win first place, achieving fourth place is still a significant accomplishment for her. The only regret for Shi Xiaochun is that Ling Chen cannot share her joy. However, Ling Chen surprises her by returning. He never left; he didn't want to separate like his mother and Lin Shian, choosing love in the end.
Hong Jiaoyang opens his dance studio, and Xiao Bu's song gains recognition. Xiao Bu quickly shares this news with Yu Manman. Yu Manman becomes a dance assistant at school. Shi Xiaochun and Ling Chen are doing well. The "Losers' Alliance" maintains strong bonds, and everyone continues to live happily.
