After being discharged from the hospital, Han Donglai went to the place where Kele brought Zhong Ling. He once again proposed that they should sleep together as a family, but Zhong Ling refused. After Kele fell asleep, Han Donglai asked Zhong Ling for help in changing his bandages. The atmosphere became romantic, and they no longer held back their feelings, spending the night together. The next day, Han Donglai's mother came to pick him up to go home, but when she tried to take Kele, he coldly resisted. Zhong Ling noticed the sudden change in Han Donglai's mother's attitude and suspected that she already knew the truth about Kele's parentage.
On their way home, Han Donglai's mother didn't know how to tell her son the truth, but he interrupted her and got off the car to buy an engagement ring at DR.
