One year ago, before Ye Ping'an was about to leave the capital, Zhao Feng, who had been entrusted with a task, handed her an item. Now, that item had finally become useful. According to Ye Ping'an, she had helped a private salt dealer named Huang Yimin with a heart ailment, earning his trust and gaining access to the private salt trade.
Yuan Shaocheng didn't believe Ye Ping'an's words, but Wu Xianer was quite interested in the private salt dealer, Huang Yimin. Ye Ping'an set a commission fee of 800 taels, and Wu Xianer agreed immediately.
