Jin Xi'en heard the commotion outside and walked out of the hospital room, where reporters had discovered the two Jin secretaries. Jin Xi'er admitted that she was Jin Xi'en's sister and warned the media to leave the hospital. At that moment, Zeng Huaishi arrived and informed the media that he had already sent a lawyer's letter to the newspaper, requesting the removal of today's materials. The journalists initially didn't take it seriously but eventually left after receiving instructions from their superiors.
Zeng Huaishi asked the young lady if she was okay and wished Jin's mother a speedy recovery. He also invited her to work as a secretary at Li Huai International, offering double the salary. He noted her hesitation and clarified that the invitation was for her, not her sister. Jin Xi'er was surprised that he knew about her twin sister. She expressed her belief in Lan Chen's company's bright future, contrary to what Zeng Huaishi had suggested.
Jin Xi'en asked her sister if she liked Lan Chen, implying that she had been selfishly meddling in her sister's affairs and not appreciating Jin Xi'er's help. In an effort to dispel her sister's jealousy, Jin Xi'er swore that she wouldn't fall for Lan Chen.
Jin's mother woke up and scolded Jin Xi'en for not being understanding and appreciating her sister, who was so protective. She advised her to be more considerate of Jin Xi'er. Ling Feng, under threat from the Chief Financial Officer, was coerced into deleting transfer records and receiving a sum of money to falsely implicate Lan Chen.
